It is unseemly for America’s elected representatives to fawn at pop entertainers.

Last Saturday, immediately after the Senate voted to repeal the ”don’t ask, don’t tell” policy banning gays from serving openly in the military, Demonrat Majority Leader Harry Reid (NV) sent his first Twitter message to the pop singer, exhibitionist extraordinaire, and one-woman freak-show Lady Gaga:
