In a recent interview with The Baptist Press on June 16, 2012, Dan Cathy, the chief of Chick-fil-A — which was begun by his father Truett, and now is a $4 billion-plus a year business — said, “We are very much supportive of the family – the biblical definition of the family unit. We are a family-owned business, a family-led business, and we are married to our first wives. We give God thanks for that.”
Mind you, Cathy didn’t say that Chick-fil-A would refuse to serve homosexuals. Cathy was simply exercising his Constitutional right to free speech, expressing his support for traditional man-woman marriage! For that, however, he and the restaurant chain and their customers were attacked, cursed, and vilified by Hollywood libs like Roseanne Barr and the Jim Henson (muppets) Company. Several mayors of large American cities — including Boston’s Thomas Menino, Chicago’s Rahm Emanuel, and San Francisco’s Ed Lee — vowed they would not allow Chick-fil-A to open a franchise in their cities.
All Americans who believe that we still have the Constitutional First Amendment right to free speech are encouraged to show their support for Chick-fil-A by buying something — a chicken sandwich or just a cup of coffee — at a Chick-fil-A Restaurant near you.
Even homosexuals support Chick-fil-A! Here’s a cartoon posted on the website GayPatriot.net (h/t FOTM’s moxielouise):
What news reports I’ve seen show that Americans are coming out IN DROVES! In some Chick-fil-A restaurants, customers are lined up in blocks!
Did you go to a Chick-fil-A today? If so, tell us about it!
If you took photos, send them to fellowshipminds@gmail.com and we’ll post them.
Here are two photos I just received (I’ll be updating with more photos as they come in):

TMZ: Roseanne Barr — who famously butchered the National Anthem — has filed official documents to become the Green Party’s nominee for President of the United States of America. Barr — who has been waging a Twitter and Facebook grassroots, digital campaign — has just made it official. She wants to carry the Green Party banner in the November election.
Barr says she’s sick of Democrats and Republicans, whom she believes are not working in the best interests of the American people. So what, you ask, is Roseanne pushing? The answer is simple … pot. She wants marijuana legalized and sold strictly domestically.
Remember she said this back in October of last year:
“I am for the return of the Guillotine that is for the worst of the worst of the guilty. I would allow the guilty bankers the ability to pay back anything over $100 million in personal wealth because I believe in a maximum wage of $100 million. And if they are unable to live on that amount then they should go to the re-education camps and if that doesn’t help, then be beheaded.”
Course she picks the $100 million mark as her net worth is only $80 million (wants to give herself room to make a couple more million I guess).
But I’m confused…on her Twitter page she retweeted this, “@TheRealRoseanne people need to pour their love and energy into the Occupy movement, not waste time voting.” I’m sure some will waste their vote on her.
One thing she did tweet that I can agree with, “I really think that Americans can solve the problems that we have very easily, together, once we remove the corruption from our government.“ Can we start with Skippy, Holder, Tim TurboTax and the rest of this administration?

A week ago on Dec. 6, 2011, in Osawatomie, Kansas, Obama fired the first shot in what Financial Times is calling a “class warfare election.”
In a speech that set out the guts of his 2012 campaign, Obama says the belief in capitalism, individualism, and small government, although is “in America’s very DNA,” not only “doesn’t work. It has never worked.”
Instead, Obama calls for a society where “everyone gets a fair shot, when everyone does their fair share, when everyone plays by the same rules” — whatever that means. Blaming the Great Recession on the “breathtaking greed” of the financial elites — the very same financial elites whom he has bailed out ($7.77 trillion to Wall Street!) and who are his cronies (e.g., Jon Corzine, ex-CEO of the now-bankrupt MF Global) — Obama calls on the rich to pay a higher share in taxes.
Words have different meaning to different people.
During the 2008 election season, in his now-famous encounter with Joe the Plumber, Obama had called Americans who make more than $250,000 a year “rich”. The Occupy Wall Street (OWS) movement say they represent the 99% and call those who are in the top 1% of income distribution to be the super “rich.”
Oddly, some who are in that top 1% insist they are not “rich”. Actress Roseanne Barr, who has a net worth of $80 million and supports the OWS movement, says Americans who make more than $100 million should have their heads chopped off.
Now we have polling data from Gallup about what ordinary Americans consider as “rich.”
Catherine Rampell reports for the New York Times, Dec. 9, 2011, that Gallup has surveyed Americans to ask what they believe the cutoff for being “rich” should be. The median response was that a person would need to make at least $150,000 to be considered rich. “Median response” refers to the income figure — in this case, $150,000 — that cuts the poll sample into two halves.
Here’s a breakdown of the responses:
Answers to Gallup’s survey question on the threshold for being “rich” vary by demographics. Men, those younger than 50, college grads, those with kids, city-dwellers, and those with more than $50,000 in annual household income cited a higher figure for what they consider to be “rich”:
According to the Tax Policy Center’s calculations on income distribution, a household earning cash income of $150,000 would fall somewhere between the 89th and 90th percentiles, that is in the top 10-11%. In other words, the typical American believes anyone in about the top tenth of the income distribution counts as “rich.”
Obama and others, on the other hand, have set the cutoff around $250,000 when discussing “raising taxes on the rich.” Households earning cash income of $250,000 are somewhere between the 96th and 97th percentiles, that is in the top 3-4%.
So if you make $150,000 or more a year, watch out for that hand reaching into your pocket!

The group often credited with sparking Occupy Wall Street (OWS) is Adbusters, the Canadian anti-capitalist magazine founded in 1989 by Kalle Lasn and Bill Schmalz in Vancouver, British Columbia. This July, Lasn and Schmalz issued a call to flood lower Manhattan with 90,000 protesters. Lasn has been accused of anti-Semitism regarding some of the articles in Adbusters. [Link]
“Remember democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes, exhausts, and murders itself. There never was a democracy yet that did not commit suicide.” –John Adams, letter to John Taylor, 1814
“Democracies have ever been spectacles of turbulence and contention; have ever been found incompatible with personal security, or the rights of property; and have, in general, been as short in their lives as they have been violent in their deaths.” –James Madison, Federalist No. 10, 1787
Kalle Lasn previously called for a protest at the upcoming G20 while demanding a one-percent tax on financial transactions. You can read The Daily Call article on this here: “Occupy Wall Street Demands Global UN Tax and Worldwide G20 Protest.”
They don’t even try to hide their affinity to the UN, they’re taking the UN’s call for the tax to the streets and screaming for its implementation. As one of the founders of Occupy Wall Street, Lasn is also in bed with the power elite Soros crowd, which helps fund his magazine, as reported by Lew Rockwell.
Lawrence Morley writes in Adbusters:
“Revolt, if it is to be successful, must come from the mind; a growing unease and dissatisfaction with things as they are. Revolt may be leaderless, but it cannot be idea-less. … It could be said that any society has vested interests in the status quo which could not be unseated by argument. I disagree. For any revolution to succeed, even those interests must be shown to gain, or to lose less by cooperation than they would otherwise.
I, as a Progressive Anarchist, want the complete overthrow of present societies, but not now, not immediately, not violently, but gradually and peacefully as ideas gradually seep through one’s mind. The intention of this revolutionary is to assault your mind and destroy your beliefs.” Continue reading →

Definition of hypocrite: 1: a person who puts on a false appearance of virtue or religion or 2: a person who acts in contradiction to his or her stated beliefs or feelings.
Limousine liberals are a sub-group of hypocrites. The term was coined in the late 1960s to refer to the hypocrisy of wealthy liberals who call for the use of mass transit while frequently using limousines or private jets, claiming environmental consciousness but driving low MPG sports cars or SUVs, or ostensibly supporting public education while actually sending their children to private schools.
If there’s an award for limousine liberalism, I nominate actress Susan Sarandon.
On September 28, 2011, the 64-year-old Sarandon, “a veteran of protest marches and civil disobedience actions for liberal and humanitarian causes,” stopped by the Occupy Wall Street encampment in Zuccotti Park on her way to Italy, to show her support for the anti-corporate “eat the rich” movement.
She told the crowd: “I’m just here to be educated and offer my support. There’s a lot of different kinds of people here who want to shift the paradigm to something that’s addressing the huge gap between the rich and the poor.”
On October 14, 2011, the same Susan Sarandon appeared at the launch of clothing company Uniqlo’s flagship store on Fifth Avenue in Manhattan.
As the new face of Uniqlo’s US Autumn Collection, Sarandon obligingly wore an ugly jacket made out of a fabric covered with the company’s red logo.
Sarandon has an estimated net worth of $50 million. If she hadn’t recently divorced Tim Robbins, another loud-mouthed Hollywood socialist who’s also an OWS supporter and also has a net worth of $50 million, the couple would have a net worth of $100 million. That would get them beheaded — according to the yardstick ($100 million and over) of yet another phony Hollywood socialist, Roseanne Barr.
Conveniently, Barr’s estimated net worth is “only” $80 million, which is $20 million short of that guillotine magic figure of $100 million. Barr should really try not to get any wealthier, or she would have to behead herself.
Umm…. What was that definition of “hypocrite” again?

At the Occupy Los Angeles demonstration a few days ago, a speaker dismisses nonviolence as a dead end. He then says that for the Occupiers to achieve their goals, “ultimately” violence and bloodshed will be necessary:
H/t PJ Tattler
Just remember these are the same Occupy Movement whom Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi, peace-loving guru Deepak Chopra, and the lefty Hollywood crowd (Alec Baldwin, Susan Sarandon, Michael Moore, Tim Robbins, Kanye West, Roseanne Barr) approve. Barr actually calls for the beheading of those who have more than $100 million. (Conveniently, Barr herself is worth $80 million, just $20 million shy of beheading!)
