Agenda 21 – Smart Growth Gurus Freaking Out

This just in from Rosa Koire, the  liberal democrat speaking out against U.N. Agenda 21, and being labeled a conservative tea partier for her stand!

“I was interviewed in February 2012 for the July/August 2012 issue of the American Bar Association’s Probate and Property magazine.  The article is out and it’s a smear.  Classic techniques of omission of mention and manipulation of information were used by the attorney who interviewed me.  Please forward this article and the video I made of our interview below so that people can see yet another example of press distortion when reporting on UN Agenda 21/Sustainable Development.“

In my opinion, the 8 page article, “Navigating the Political Challenges to Sustainable Development,”  written by attorney,  James Slaton, is actually very encouraging.  It is not meant to be read by the general public.  It is an insider article for those in the planning and legal professions working to implement Smart Growth/Sustainable Development.  According to his article, the planners think we are a huge, well-funded monolithic force and they’re scrambling to come up with new strategies to deal with us because we’ve been successfully disrupting their Delphi Technique in meeting after meeting across the country.  Here’s a gem of a quote on page 6  by one of the air-head planners,“To us, hating sustainable development is like hating kittens.”

Slaton is a heavy-hitter in the Smart Growth community according to the website of his Louisiana law firm:

Mr. Slaton serves as the Chair of the Land Use and Zoning Committee of the American Bar Association Real Property, Trust and Estate Law Section.  He is the Vice-Chair of the New Orleans Bar Association Real Property Committee.  Mr. Slaton serves as an Associate Member of the Urban Land Institute where he serves on the programming committee for the Louisiana Chapter.  Mr. Slaton is on the Professional Advisors Council of the Northshore Community Foundation.  He is a member of the American, Louisiana State, and New Orleans Bar Associations and an Associate Member of the Urban Land Institute.

Watch the video, read the article, go to a meeting and disrupt the Delphi Technique and check out Rosa’s websites.  She knows what she’s talking about and she’s not afraid to say so!  LOL

Agenda 21-Huffpo Hack’s Bias Exposed by Rosa Koire

We owe a debt of gratitude to Rosa Koire for getting out a heads-up on this.  She was approached by Huffpo “journalist”, Andrew Reinbach, who wanted an interview for a story he was doing about U.N. Agenda 21.  The main thrust of the interview was his determination to blame the “vast rightwing conspiracy” aka John Birch Society for making an issue of the harmless little non-binding Agenda 21. 

Rosa laid it on the line…. BIG TIME!   She blogged about it on her website and posted the  interview on Youtube! 

When you read his article, it’s as if the 44 minute interview with Rosa never happened.  It didn’t fit the narrative of tin foil hat JBS paranoia he had in mind .

Agenda 21 – ICLEI Citizens Have their Say

Rosa Koire just sent this video of their meeting at a San Carlos, CA city council meeting where the members are educated  by their constituents about property rights and the United Nations Agenda 21 and urged to discontinue their ICLEI membership.

You are witnessing a plan that is taking place all across the United
States NOW.  It has many names but it’s the same plan. UN Agenda
21/Sustainable Development: Sustainable Cities Strategy.  It is a
regional plan that creates unelected boards of elected officials who
are engaged in erasing the boundaries between cities, counties, and
states.  You are losing your ability to influence your government
policies at the same time that you are being solicited for your
opinion. It’s a tactic to placate you. This is the Delphi method of
manipulating groups and controlling populations that may protest. By
2050, or sooner, there will be 11 Mega-Regions in the United States
that include parts of Mexico and Canada.  Local and state boundaries
and jurisdictions will be dissolved. This is not a delusional rant.

What are these plans called?  Your government is using similar names
for all of these plans and they are all the same: Regional.  They are
being rolled out NOW.  The adoption date is MID-2013.  ALL OVER THE
US.  Most of us are unaware that the plan we are fighting is the same
plan, with minor variations, being imposed in the name of reducing
greenhouse gas emissions, expanding public transportation, and funding
low-income housing.  All plans include Smart Growth–high density
housing with restrictions on personal space and car usage.  All plans
support high speed trains–the building block of Mega-Regions.  All
plans give power to regional transportation and planning boards (MPOs
and COGs) through federal and state fund disbursements.  In all plans
housing and transportation are now linked.  In all plans population
projections are hugely inflated.  All plans will go forward as
planned.  This is a planning revolution.

Here are just a few plans around the country using the word “VISION” a
UN Agenda 21 buzz word.  Other plan names use variants on the
sustainability jargon.  There are thousands of these plans and they
all have a goal of transformation–a jargon term for destruction.

    * One Valley One Vision (you’ll find this in Santa Clarita Valley,
CA; Montana; and Dona  Ana County/Las Cruces New Mexico
    * Nine Counties, One Vision (Tennessee)
    * One Region One Vision (New York, and Indiana)
    * Our Florida Our Vision
    * One Bay Area (SF Bay Area–9 counties)
    * Six Towns One Vision (Lycoming County)
    * Five Counties One Vision (Minnesota)
    * Four States One Vision (Oklahoma, Arkansas, Missouri, Kansas)

We need to use civil disobedience.  Refuse to accept these plans.
They are not YOUR plan.  They are destroying our government and
installing a new regime.  This is UN Agenda 21/Sustainable
Development/ICLEI.  Educate yourself and others.  This is war.  Join
us at Democrats Against UN Agenda 21 in fighting for our freedom.

Agenda 21- A Victory for Property Rights !

Everyone who has seen Rosa Koire’s videos explaining the loss of Property Rights through Eminent Domain and Land-Use issues of Agenda 21:  Here’s a victory!  The headline below links to the article describing the courts decision to strike down California redevelopment agencies by Feb 1st.

L.A. lawmakers vote to discard redevelopment agency

The Los Angeles City Council voted Wednesday to relinquish control of its redevelopment agency, leaving the task of shutting down hundreds of millions of dollars in activities to some other branch of government.

On a 9-3 vote, the council decided to in effect walk away from the agency and 192 employees.

The vote came one day after the city’s financial analysts warned that the budget, which is already in dire shape, could face more than $109 million in costs if it took responsibility for redevelopment, which is being eliminated statewide. “The reality of the situation is the CRA [Community Redevelopment Agency] as we know it is dead,” said Council President Herb Wesson. “And I think it’s time for us to take it off of the machine.”

The vote took place despite opposition from union officials, affordable housing advocates and lobbyists for real estate interests. Councilman Richard Alarcon voted against the move, saying the council should use “every minute” of the next two days reviewing the legal issues.

“We should fight for these employees. We should fight for these projects. We should fight in court if necessary,” he said.

Under the state law that killed redevelopment, each local government must decide whether to become a so-called “successor” to its redevelopment agency. With L.A. no longer in play, the County Board of Supervisors could decide to do so.   Full Story

Agenda 21: Behind the Green Mask

This video was recorded at Rosa Koire’s conference on Agenda 21, “Behind the Green Mask”, August 6, 2011 in Santa Rosa, California.

Agenda 21 is the Master Plan put forth by the United Nations in 1992 and adopted by President Bill Clinton. Agenda 21 is a green initiative which targets cars and people living away from cities who must commute. Their goal is to develop large, congested city centers for people to reside, and provide mass transit for the city dwellers to commute to work. It also targets large parcels of land in the world, including the United States, to be redistricted to “open space land”, thereby making it undevelopable.
