Will it end with homosexual marriage?

Homosexual marriage, is it the end goal?  Skippy evolved flip-flopped and now supports it.  Homosexual marriage is a “civil right” now.  One that future generations will look back on and wonder what took us so long to accept it.

Even 1% Skippy supporter Jay-Z has spoken in support of homosexual marriage saying, “What people do in their own homes is their business and you can choose to love whoever you love. That’s their business. It’s no different than discriminating against blacks. It’s discrimination plain and simple.”

Yet what is really the goal with homosexual marriage?  As Eowyn noted, it’s not monogamy.  Rather, the homosexual agenda wants to redefine the meaning of traditional marriage and family.

Homosexual marriage is just the start to redefining the institution of marriage.  If you believe they are the only segment of society demanding this “civil right”, then you should be aware of these other interests demanding equal “civil rights” as well.

Plural marriage a “civil right”?

@PluralMarriage on Twitter is on a crusade for more civil rights.  Operated by a person named David Diaz-Cohen, their profile states: Fighting for the marriage equality rights of several consenting adults to wed. End discrimination! The more love in the home, the more stability in society.  Some of @PluralMarriage recents tweets:

• Support marriage equality. Not all humans are born monogamous. Vote plural marriages.
• Save families! Support children! Lower the divorce rate! Forcing people oriented for plural relationships into the closet is wrong!
• Forcing people born w/ plural sexuality into monagamous unions, harms stability in the home & encourages infidelity & #divorce.
• We will not be deterred. #Marriage is a fundamental human right. Consenting adults have the right to wed. End marriage #discrimination now!
• Citizens in long-term plural relationships should have the right to wed. True activism fights for the rights of everyone. Marriage Equality.

How long before those that oppose plural marriage are considered “haters” and accused of hate speech?

(As for those who want to go off on Mormons and plural marriage, in 1890, the Mormon Church officially disavowed polygamy as a practice and currently excommunicates any Latter-day Saint who embraces it.  Yet Hollyweird would have you believe otherwise with their no-longer aired show, “Big Love“.)

The North American Man/Boy Love Association, which has been defended by gay rights advocates, works to abolish age of consent laws criminalizing adult sexual involvement with minors.  They are a “civil rights” organization whose goal is to end “the extreme oppression of men and boys in mutually consensual relationships”.

If activists are successful in redefining marriage that approves of their preferred qualifiers, how long before one is able to marry a young boy?  Their cousin?  Isn’t one allowed to ”choose to love whoever you love”?

How far down a destructive path will we go before it takes our society to “evolve”?

Liberal Jon Stewart Denies He’s Liberal

As a student of human psychology, I’m always fascinated by how a man who mercilessly lampoons and criticizes others is so thin-skinned that he not only can’t take a criticism, he actually denies reality.

Jon Stewart is the latest example.

Stewart, whose real surname is Leibowtiz, is the very liberal host of what even Wikipedia describes as “the satirical news program” on Comedy Central. Stewart had described himself in high school as “very into Eugene Debs and a bit of a leftist.” (Eugene Debs was an American union leader and several times the candidate of the Socialist Party of America for POTUS.) Reportedly, Stewart has made monetary campaign donation to only one politician — the exhibitionist and still-not-formally-resigned Democratic Congressman Anthony Weiner.

Yesterday, June 19, 2011, Stewart appeared on Fox News Sunday with Chris Wallace. This is the UK’s Daily Mail‘s account of what transpired:

But the atmosphere quickly turned serious as Mr Stewart, angered by questions over his own ‘liberal’ bias, snapped. The audience were shown a transcript of Mr Stewart describing Fox News as a, “relentless agenda-driven 24 hour news opinion propaganda delivery system.”

Mr Wallace then asked the comedian: “Where do you come up with this stuff.”

Stewart responded: “Uh, it’s actually quite easy.”

[...] Wallace then played a clip of Mr Stewart comparing a video of Sarah Palin’s recent bus tour to a herpes commercial.

Mr Stewart erupted: “You’re insane… Here’s the difference between you and I. I’m a comedian first. My comedy is informed by an ideological background, there’s no question about that. But the thing that you will never understand…is that Hollywood, yeah, they’re liberal, but that’s not their primary motivating force. I’m not an activist. I am a comedian…. Do I want my voice heard. Absolutely, that’s why I got into comedy. Am I an activist, in your mind? A partisan ideological activist.”

Mr Wallace answered with a short, “Yeah.”

“Okay, then I disagree with you.” Stewart said. Rising in temper again, he said: “You can’t understand, because of the world that you live in, that there is not a designed ideological agenda on my part to affect partisan change because that’s the soup you swim in…. It reminds me of in ideological regimes, they can’t understand that there is free media other places because they receive marching orders.”

[...] Through gritted teeth Mr Stewart added: ‘In the polls who is the most consistently misinformed media viewers. Fox, Fox viewers. Consistently. Every poll.”

Stewart is also plain mistaken about Fox viewers. An analysis of the Soros-funded survey that claimed Fox viewers to be the most misinformed media consumers concluded that the survey:

1. Didn’t test what it claimed.
2. Contained a trick question.
3. Contained baseless conclusions.
4. The data collected actually supported opposite conclusions from what was reported.
5. The researchers cited disputed citations as fact.

We Warned You About the Slippery Slope

Remember David Epstein, that Columbia University political science professor who was arrested for having incest with his adult daughter?

When news of his arrest first broke, liberal commentors said that, though incestuous, there’s nothing wrong (or unlawful) with sex between consenting adults. Now his lawyer is making the same argument, using homosexual sex and gay marriage as justification.

By that logic, polygamy and polyandry also are okay. For that matter, why limit it only to adults? – which is precisely what the pedophilial gay North American Man/Boy Love Association argues. Then again, why limit it only to homo sapiens?

If you think I’m joking, think again. In an article for The Weekly Standard in 2001, “‘Pedophilia Chic’ Reconsidered: The Taboo Against Sex With Children Continues to Erode,” Mary Eberstadt wrote:

“This social consensus against the sexual exploitation of children and adolescents…is apparently eroding, and this regardless of the fact that the vast majority of citizens do overwhelmingly abominate the thing. For elsewhere in the public square, the defense of adult-child sex–more accurately, man-boy sex–is now out in the open. Moreover, it is on parade in a number of places–therapeutic, literary, and academic circles; mainstream publishing houses and journals and magazines and bookstores–where the mere appearance of such ideas would until recently have been not only unthinkable, but in many cases, subject to prosecution.”

Lawyer defends Columbia professor charged with incest

‘It’s ok for homosexuals to do what they want at home, how is this different?’

The lawyer representing a professor charged with incest with his 24-year-old daughter has questioned why the alleged affair has been made public.

David Epstein was charged last week with one count of incest for what was allegedly a consensual three-year sexual relationship with his daughter. The political science professor at Columbia University, 46, allegedly slept with her between 2006 and 2009. Epstein, who specialises in American politics and voting rights, is also said to have exchanged twisted text messages with the woman during their relationship.

Matthew Galluzzo, defending Epstein, has said that even though his daughter had emerged as a victim in the case, she could “best be described as an accomplice”. He told ABCNews.com:

“Academically, we are obviously all morally opposed to incest and rightfully so. At the same time, there is an argument to be made in the Swiss case to let go what goes on privately in bedrooms. It’s ok for homosexuals to do whatever they want in their own home. How is this so different? We have to figure out why some behaviour is tolerated and some is not.”

In an interview with the Huffington Post, he added: “What goes on between consenting adults in private should not be legislated. That is not the proper domain of our law. If we assume for a moment that both parties [involved in incest] are consenting, then why are we prosecuting this?”

Epstein, who has taught at Harvard and Stanford, is currently on administrative leave from Columbia. He was married to another lecturer at the Ivy League institution, Sharyn O’Halloran, but the pair recently divorced.

In an earlier statement Mr Galluzzo called the charges against the professor “unwarranted and unfair.” “Professor Epstein is well-respected by his peers and students and he asks that his friends in the Columbia community support him and give him the benefit of the doubt during this trying time,” he added.

Switzerland legislators have proposed decriminalising consensual sexual relationships between first-degree relatives, including siblings and parents and their adult children. Consensual incest is also legal in China, France, Israel, the Ivory Coast, the Netherlands, Russia, Spain and Turkey, according to a 2007 report from the Max Planck Institute in Germany.
