(AP) Russia detains 140 suspected Islamic extremists

MOSCOW

Russian police and security agents have detained 140 people at a mosque in Moscow on suspicion of involvement with Islamic extremism.

A statement from the Federal Security Agency reported by Russian news agencies said among those detained in the Friday action were 30 citizens of unspecified foreign countries.

The detentions come a week after the two suspects in the fatal Boston Marathon bombing were identified as originating from the Russian region of Chechnya and sympathizing with Islamic extremists.

There were no immediate reports of charges being filed. The security agency referred The Associated Press to a district office, where the telephone was not answered.

The reports cited the agency as saying the mosque previously has been visited by people who had been involved in preparing or carrying out terrorist attacks.

Clearly the Russian government, no stranger to Islamic terrorism itself, is not encumbered by the self-destructive mental illness that is political correctness, as we seem to be hopelessly afflicted with it here in America.

Even our normally docile neighbors to the north appear to be catching on, and like the Russians, are taking proactive steps to try and protect their citizens from the 7th Century primitives.

Yet here in post 9/11 America, the supposedly most powerful nation the world has ever seen - a place where five Jihadists have successfully reached their targets since January 20th, 2009, the man charged with defending us from our enemies cannot even bring himself to utter the phrase Islamic terrorism.

I hope we will not wind up eating a couple of cities before this nation, and its government, finally wake up to the reality that is Islam.

The Tunisian man arrested this week on charges of plotting to derail a Canadian train posted all the chilling details of the inner workings of  al-Qaida on his Facebook page – including numerous links to other notorious terror groups.

Chiheb Esseghaier’s Facebook page was captured by Walid Shoebat, a Palestinian former Muslim who converted to Christianity, just moments before it was deleted.

Regarding Conspiracy Theories

FEMA Camps, Freemasons, Illuminati, Bohemian Grove, False Flag, and all their vile cousins are terms that haunt us (me). They sometimes make sleep hard to find. Some people whistle thru the graveyard; I prefer to renew my courage with God’s word and His fellowship.

Conspiracy is nothing new.

Serpent

Ever since the expulsion from the Garden, humans have exhibited a tendency toward conspiracy. In fact, Eve’s and Adam’s original sin was a conspiracy with the serpent, intended to challenge their Creator.

In the book of Proverbs, after the prologue and call to honor the advice of parents, the first “nuts and bolts” piece of advice is to avoid entering into conspiracy!

Proverbs 1 verses 10-19

My son, if sinful men entice you,
    do not give in to them.
  If they say, “Come along with us;
    let’s lie in wait for innocent blood,
      let’s ambush some harmless soul;
  let’s swallow them alive, like the grave,

The Independent: Foggy Bottom Warned of Attack 48 Hours in Advance – Did Nothing

I have tried most diligently to stay away from all this today, as I am so distraught over it all I have been driven nearly to tears several times over the last couple of days. Fortunately, I was gone a good part of the day and had little access to a computer.

I finally decided to take a peak at Drudge a little while ago, only to see the following in big block red letters – PAPER: U.S. WARNED OF EMBASSY ATTACK BUT DID NOTHING

I then clicked on the link and in very short order could not believe what I was reading.

However, on second thought…

The killings of the US ambassador to Libya and three of his staff were likely to have been the result of a serious and continuing security breach, The Independent can reveal.

American officials believe the attack was planned, but Chris Stevens had been back in the country only a short while and the details of his visit to Benghazi, where he and his staff died, were meant to be confidential.

The US administration is now facing a crisis in Libya. Sensitive documents have gone missing from the consulate in Benghazi and the supposedly secret location of the “safe house” in the city, where the staff had retreated, came under sustained mortar attack. Other such refuges across the country are no longer deemed “safe”.

Some of the missing papers from the consulate are said to list names of Libyans who are working with Americans, putting them potentially at risk from extremist groups, while some of the other documents are said to relate to oil contracts.

According to senior diplomatic sources, the US State Department had credible information 48 hours before mobs charged the consulate in Benghazi, and the embassy in Cairo, that American missions may be targeted, but no warnings were given for diplomats to go on high alert and “lockdown”, under which movement is severely restricted.

Mr Stevens had been on a visit to Germany, Austria and Sweden and had just returned to Libya when the Benghazi trip took place with the US embassy’s security staff deciding that the trip could be undertaken safely.

Eight Americans, some from the military, were wounded in the attack which claimed the lives of Mr Stevens, Sean Smith, an information officer, and two US Marines. All staff from Benghazi have now been moved to the capital, Tripoli, and those whose work is deemed to be non-essential may be flown out of Libya.

In the meantime a Marine Corps FAST Anti-Terrorism Reaction Team has already arrived in the country from a base in Spain and other personnel are believed to be on the way. Additional units have been put on standby to move to other states where their presence may be needed in the outbreak of anti-American fury triggered by publicity about a film which demeaned the Prophet Mohamed.

If this is true, or even fifty-percent true, a whole bunch of heads need to roll, starting with Hillary Clinton’s.

As for our dear POtuS and CIC, it is just possible that, given the recent revelation that he appears to have little interest in attending security briefings, he may very well have not known of the warnings (in fact, he is still skipping them despite the recent attacks), but he is still the HMFWIC, and the proverbial “buck” ultimately stops with him.

I guess fund-raising in the desert trumps the security of our embassy and consulate personnel living and working abroad in often hostile places.

What is really sad is that we are only hearing about this from the British media, as it appears their American counterparts are much too busy trying to destroy the candidacy of Mitt Romney to be bothered.

After all, the comrade Dear Ruler must be protected at all costs.

And I am not buying for a second that this was all caused by some obscure video concerning Mohamed, as there is mounting evidence that the attacks had been in planning for some time, and they were then carried out on 9/11/2012.

I do not believe in coincidences – especially when it comes to bass-ackward, 7th Century, functionally illiterate, flea-infested primitive camel-washers.

I will have more on this in the coming days, but this is all I can stomach for now.

Jihad Jimmy Slams Obama for the One Thing He is Doing Right

The one bright spot in what otherwise has been the most dismal, not to mention dangerous presidency in American history has been Obama’s willingness to continue to arrange meetings between 7th Century, bass-ackward illiterate camel-washers, and Allah.

I have to admit, even if half-grudgingly, this is the one thing Obama has gotten right – regardless of his motives.

Now along comes Jimmy Carter, the 39th POTUS, and the person I hold responsible for rekindling the 14 century-long Jihad that had pretty much laid dormant since WWI.

Apparently, Jimmy Earl is most displeased with Obama’s use of drones to dispatch the Jihadists to Hell:

Former president Jimmy Carter has blasted the United States for anti-terror strategies such as targeting individuals for assassination and using unmanned drones to bomb suspected targets, saying they directly flout the basic tenets of universal human rights and foment anti-US sentiment.

In an article written for the New York Times headlined “A Cruel and Unusual Record”, Mr Carter, who won the Nobel Peace Prize in 2002 for his work trying to resolve conflicts around the globe, suggested that the US is in violation of 10 of the 30 articles of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. It is a rare attack by a former commander-in-chief on a sitting President – especially of the same party.

While Mr Carter does not name President Obama, there is little disguising that he is the principle target of his stinging words. Recent weeks have seen a slew of media reports detailing how Mr Obama has grown increasingly dependent on drones to take out suspected terror cells and describing how he has the final word to approve names on a “hit-list” of most-wanted terror suspects overseas for assassination. “Revelations that top officials are targeting people to be assassinated, including American citizens, are only the most recent, disturbing proof of how far our nation’s violation of human rights has extended,” Mr Carter wrote, concluding that the US is “abandoning its role as the global champion of human rights”.

In the past, Mr Carter, 87, has meted out similar criticisms, most notably George W Bush. This latest assault is embarrassing for Mr Obama as it will serve as a reminder that he specifically pledged to adjust America’s posture in the war on terror. He began by banning interrogation techniques he considered to be torture, such as water-boarding, and by closing down Guantanamo Bay. On the latter, of course, he has failed to deliver.

It is poignant, moreover, that both men are Peace Prize winners. Critics believe Mr Obama has proved himself unworthy of the honour which he received soon after taking office. His supporters believe however that he has pre-empted criticism of his foreign policy performance. Under his watch, Osama bin Laden has been killed and much of the top echelons of al-Qa’ida have been gutted.

Al-Qaeda advertising for suicide bombers on internet

Al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula has begun posting Internet advertisements offering training for suicide bombers to target the US, Israel and France.

The advertisements ask for volunteers to get in touch via e-mail with details about their own experience and proposed targets, and were posted on a variety of jihadist forums, including Al-Fidaa, Shmoukh al-Islam and Honein.

Al-Qaeda and its regional offshoots often use jihadist Internet forums to post statements claiming responsibility for attacks, and to communicate with followers.

“The aim of this training is to continue with our brothers who are seeking to carry out operations that make for great killing and slaughtering of the enemies of Islam,” said the advertisement attributed to Yemen-based Al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula.

“It is clear now that the individual jihad, or what is called the lone wolf, has become more widespread and its features have started showing — in summary, it is a complete jihadist operation to be carried out by a single bomber.”

It said the targets of the attacks were “those who are fighting the Muslims and Islam” and specifically pointed to “economic, military and media interests of the enemy.”

“Their identity must be, according to priority, American, Israeli, French and British.”

Best Buy Responds to Criticism for Supporting CAIR, Muslim Brotherhood

The United States government named CAIR an “unindicted co-conspirator” to fund the terrorist group Hamas in America’s most significant terror financing trial. The U.S. also identified CAIR as an agent of the Muslim Brotherhood, sharing the common goal of dismantling American institutions and turning the U.S. into a Sharia-compliant, Islamic state through incremental, stealth jihad.
Utterly outrageous, yes. But outrage is not enough. Action is required. The Goal is a commitment from Best Buy to never again use profits from American consumers to finance Islamic radicals.
Here is how you can make a difference:
If you don’t like the idea of your consumer electronics, software and appliance dollars going to fund groups aligned with Hamas and pledged to turning America into a Sharia-compliant, Islamic state, write and/or call Best Buy and let them know.

Acid victim Fakhra Younus’ suicide shames all Pakistan

The Daily Telegraph:  Fakhra Younus, 33, leapt to her death from a sixth floor building in Rome on March 17, almost 12 years after the attack which she said left her looking “not human”.

At the time of the attack, her ex-husband Bilal Khar was accused of entering her mother’s house and pouring acid over her face as she slept.  The attack, in front of her then five-year-old son, left her unable to breathe and fighting for her life. She underwent 39 surgical procedures to repair her face in the past decade.

The acid almost completely corroded her nose, burned off her hair, fused her lips, blinded her in one eye, destroyed her left ear and burned her breasts.  After being rushed to hospital she said “My face is a prison to me”, while her distraught son said at the time “This is not my mother”.

Ms. Younus moved to Italy to continue treatment in Rome. She left a suicide note complaining of legal indifference to such atrocities and insensitivity by Pakistan’s rulers. Bilal Khar was arrested in 2002 and charged with attempted murder after the attack, only to be released on bail after five months.

The ex-parliamentarian and son of a wealthy Pakistani governor was eventually cleared of the attack, though many believe he could have used his family connections to escape conviction.

Since news of Ms. Younus’s suicide emerged, Khar has continued to deny any part in the attack. He has claimed in a television interview that a different man with the same name carried out the crime.

Khar claimed that his ex-wife killed herself because she did not have enough money, not because of her injuries.

More than 8,500 acid attacks, forced marriages and other forms of violence against women were reported in Pakistan in 2011, according to The Aurat Foundation, a women’s rights organisation.

The Pakistani government introduced new laws last year criminalising acid attacks and stating that convicted attackers would serve at least 14 years in jail.

Tehmina Durrani, the ex-wife of Bilal Khar’s father, had become an advocate for Younus after the attack, and said Younus had pledged to bring her attacker to justice when she had recovered.  Ms. Durrani urged the Pakistani government to do much more to prevent violence against women.

“I think this whole country should be extremely embarrassed that a foreign country took responsibility for a Pakistani citizen for 13 years because we could give her nothing, not justice, not security,” she said.

This not only shames Pakistan, it shames the so-called “religion of peace”.  Prayers for this woman and her son she left behind.
