Low Information Voters Dumb Asses of America unite!

Public Policy Polling surveyed 576 U.S. voters nationwide through automated telephone interviews, May 10-12.

The poll found that Republicans aren’t getting much traction with their focus on Benghazi over the last week. Voters trust Hillary Clinton over Congressional Republicans on the issue of Benghazi by a 49/39 margin and Clinton’s +8 net favorability rating at 52/44 is identical to what it was on PPP’s last national poll in late March. Meanwhile Congressional Republicans remain very unpopular with a 36/57 favorability rating.

Voters think Congress should be more focused on other major issues right now rather than Benghazi. By a 56/38 margin they say passing a comprehensive immigration reform bill is more important than continuing to focus on Benghazi, and by a 52/43 spread they think passing a bill requiring background checks for all gun sales should be a higher.

The PPP poll’s margin of error is +/-4.1%. PPP claims the poll was not paid for or authorized by any campaign or political organization.

Moral of this story:

Never, ever, underestimate the sheer utter stupidity of Americans.

Whistleblowers confirm Obama regime lied about the Benghazi attack

Today, three current State Department officers testified before the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, chaired by Rep. Darrell Issa (R-CA). They are:

• Mark Thompson, an official with the State Department’s Counterterrorism Bureau.
• Greg Hicks, deputy chief of mission in Libya who became top U.S. diplomat in the country after Ambassador Chris Stevens was killed in the terror attack.
• Eric Nordstrom, a diplomatic security officer who was formerly the regional security officer in Libya.

Their testimonies confirmed what we already knew in the days after the horrible attack on Sept. 11, 2011, against the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, Libya, which took the lives of four Americans: U.S. Ambassador Chris Stevens, State Department worker Sean Smith, and former U.S. Navy SEALs Tyrone Woods and Glen Doherty.

As Jerry of Political War Zone pointed out, Benghazigate is far worse than Nixon’s Watergate for this simple reason: No one died in Watergate, but four Americans, including an ambassador, were killed in Benghazigate.

This is a summary of their testimonies today:

1. Obama regime lied: The Obama regime (Secretary of State Hillary “what difference does it make?” Clinton, U.S. Ambassador to the UN Susan Rice, and Obama the POS) lied about the nature of the Benghazi attack, calling it a spontaneous protest by Muslim masses against an anti-Muslim video made by a California man. According to Greg Hicks, “everybody in the mission” believed it was an act of terror “from the get-go.” Hicks also said he had briefed Clinton that night, but she continued to blame the video for the attack.

2. An Islamic terrorist attack: In addition to Hick’s testimony, Rep. Trey Goudy (R-SC) read into the record an email from Beth Jones, the acting assistant secretary of state for Near East Affairs. The September 12 email—disclosed for the first time today—said Jones had spoken to Libya’s ambassador to Washington who said the attack was the work of former Gadhafi regime loyalists. Jones said she told the ambassador: “The group that conducted the attacks, Ansar al-Sharia, is affiliated with Islamic terrorists.”

3. Failure in security: The U.S. diplomatic buildings in Benghazi did not meet State Department security standards and were listed as “high threat” before the 9/11/2011 attacks. Eric Nordstrom said, “It’s my understanding only the secretary of state could waive those requirements.” In other words, Hillary Clinton is responsible for the lapse in security at Benghazi.

4. Cover-up: Gregory Hicks testified he was told by the State Department not to speak to members of Congress while they were investigating the details of the Benghazi consulate attacks. State Department lawyers instructed him to avoid an interview with Rep. Jason Chaffetz (R-Utah), who traveled to Libya to investigate the attacks: “I was instructed not to allow the RSO, the acting deputy chief of mission and myself to be personally interviewed by Congressman Chaffetz.”

5. White House knew what was happening as it was happening: Hicks testified that an UAV (unmanned aerial vehicle or drone) was flying in Libya the night of the attack.

Wanted by the FBI: Benghazi murderers

Buzz Feed has alerted us to an Arabic-language video released by the FBI in an attempt to solicit tips about three individuals they believe were involved in the Sept. 11, 2012 attacks on the American consulate in Benghazi, Libya.

Four Americans were killed in the attack on the U.S. compound: U.S. Ambassador Chris Stevens, State Department worker Sean Smith, and former U.S. Navy SEALs Tyrone Woods and Glen Doherty.

Here’s a translation of what was said in the video:

“The United States Federal Bureau of Investigation is seeking information about three individuals who were on the grounds of the U.S. Special Mission in Benghazi, Libya on Sept. 11, 2012, when U.S. personnel and facilities were attacked. These individuals may be able to provide information related to the attacks, which resulted in the deaths of four Americans, including the U.S. ambassador to Libya. We appreciate that the Libyan people and the government of Libya have condemned the attacks. We need your help to solve this crime. If you have any information, text or e-mail BenghaziTips@ic.fbi.gov or submit information confidentially at forms.fbi.gov/benghazi.”

FOTM always stands ready to assist in the cause of truth and justice. To that end, I’ve made up wanted posters of the three men shown in the video, as well as the two real killers of Benghazi, whose names really should be on the FBI’s Most Wanted list.

The White House has said from the beginning that there were no forces available to assist Americans in Benghazi on Sept. 11. But that was a lie, as revealed by a new report on Benghazi which confirms what we’d already known mere days after the attack. See:

According to the new report (h/t The Blaze), a special operator with knowledge of the response told Fox News in an exclusive interview that the U.S. government had the ability to “react and respond” to the Benghazi terrorist attack and could have had forces on the ground before the second wave of the assault began: “I know for a fact that C 110, the EUCOM CIF, was doing a training exercise, not in the region of northern Africa, but in Europe. And they had the ability to react and respond.”

The C 110 is a 40-man Special Ops force capable of rapid response and deployment, a group trained specifically for an event like the Benghazi attack. The unit was training in Croatia on Sept. 11, 2012, just 3.5 hours away from Benghazi.

“They would have been there before the second attack,” the anonymous special op said. “They would have been there at a minimum to provide a quick reaction force that could facilitate their exfil out of the problem situation. Nobody knew how it was going to develop, and you hear a whole bunch of people and a whole bunch of advisors say, ‘Hey, we wouldn’t have sent them there because the security was unknown situation.’ If it’s an unknown situation, at a minimum you send forces there to facilitate the exfil or medical injuries. We could have sent a C 130 to Benghazi to provide medical evacuation for the injured.”

The FBI won’t say it, but I will.

Here are the two real killers of Benghazi who should be arrested and, in the case of the second killer, impeached:

1. Hillary Clinton, U.S. Secretary of State in charge of all American embassies and consulates.
2. Barack Hussein Obama, U.S. President and Commander In Chief

Did you know your kids don’t belong to you?

First it was Hillary Clinton who lectured to us about how “it takes a village to raise a child.”

Now, MSNBC host and professor of political science at Tulane University Melissa Harris-Perry goes one step further. Not only does it take a village to raise a child, your child belongs to the village and not to you!

Now read what you just heard her say, and let the words sink in:

We have to break through our kind of private idea that kids belong to their parents or kids belong to their families and recognize that kids belong to whole communities.  Once it’s everyone’s responsibility, and not just the household’s, then we start making better investments.

Don’t be fooled by her use of the warm-and-fuzzy word “community.” What she really means is “the state.”

Think about it: If your kids don’t belong to you but to “the community,” who will make the decisions (“better investments”) concerning your kids’ food, clothing, schooling, religion, entertainment, and socialization?

Will “the community” do that? How? Through voting in a communal meeting?

That would be cumbersome, time-consuming, unwieldy, and impractical.

So, in practice, it would be some governing body of “the community” that’ll make all those decisions concerning your kids.

The state!

In short, Melissa Harris-Perry is a COMMUNIST. What she is proposing is COMMUNISM.

That sure worked out well in Maoist China’s Great Commune Movement of the late 1950s, and in the 3-year nightmare called the Khmer Rouge’s Kampuchea….

By the way, this is the same sulphurous Melissa Harris-Perry who, on July 4, 2012, said: “The land on which [the Founders] formed the Union was stolen. The hands with which they built this nation were enslaved. The women who birthed the citizens of the nation are second class. This is the imperfect fabric of our nation. . . It’s ours, all of it. The imperialism, the genocide, the slavery.”

Obama thinks 4 Americans being killed in Benghazi is funny

What kind of a heartless, soul-less man is this?

Last night, Steve Kroft interviewed Obama and Hillary Clinton on CBS’s 60 Minutes. After the two interviewees did their cooing and gooing love-fest (7:35 mark in Part 1 of the interview, below):

Kroft finally got around to asking the two about the terrorist attacks in Benghazi which took the lives of four Americans: Ambassador Christopher Stevens, Foreign Service Information Management Officer Sean Smith, and former Navy SEALS Tyrone Woods and Glen Doherty who provided security at the U.S. consulate in Benghazi.

This is what Obama said (3:40 mark):

“You know, I remember Bob Gates, you know, first thing he said to me, I think maybe first week or two that I was there and we were meeting in the Oval Office and he, obviously, been through seven presidents or something. And he says, ‘Mr. President, one thing I can guarantee you is that at this moment, somewhere, somehow, somebody in the federal government is screwing up.’” (Laughter)

Obama thinks the State Department “screwing up” Benghazi is funny.

But then, this is the same man who went to bed after being told about the Benghazi attack as it was happening.

This is the same man who, in a previous interview last September by the same Steve Kroft, had referred to the four Americans being killed in Benghazi as “bumps on the road.”

Independent review of Benghazi attack faults State Dept

At long last, more than three months after the terrorist attack on our consulate in Benghazi, Libya, on the 11th anniversary of 9-11, an independent panel has issued its report. (You know, it’s that independent investigation to which Republican Sen. Marco Rubio’s so opposed. Snark)

Four Americans were killed in the Benghazi attack: U.S. Ambassador to Libya Christopher Stevens, Foreign Service Information Management Officer Sean Smith, and two heroic ex-Navy SEALS Tyrone Woods and Glen Doherty.

The report finds “systematic security faults” and lays the blame squarely on the U.S. State Department.

Here are the independent panel’s findings, as reported by Matthew Lee of The Associated Press, December 18, 2012:

• Systematic management and leadership failures at the State Department led to “grossly” inadequate security at the mission in Benghazi.

• The State Department’s Bureau of Diplomatic Security and the Bureau of Near East Affairs are singled out for criticism for their lack of cooperation and confusion over protection at the mission in Benghazi.

• Despite those failures, the Accountability Review Board determined that no individual officials ignored or violated their duties and recommended no disciplinary action now. But it also said poor performance by senior managers should be grounds for disciplinary recommendations in the future.

• Contrary to what the Obama regime claimed, linking the Benghazi attack to an anti-Islamic film, there was no protest outside the Benghazi consulate. Responsibility for the attack rests entirely with the terrorists who attacked the mission.

• Although there was no specific warning of a potential attack on the 11th anniversary of Sept. 11, 2001, however there had been several worrisome incidents in the run-up to the attack that should have set off warning bells.

• In addition to the State Department, the independent report also faults contract guards whom the U.S. consulate depended on for protection, as well as the local Libyan militia force who, once the attack began, “it became unclear whose side they were on.”

• U.S. personnel on the ground in Benghazi “performed with courage and readiness to risk their lives to protect their colleagues in a near-impossible situation.” [Sob....] Those personnel include Diplomatic Security agents on the scene (including Tyrone Woods and Glen Doherty) and CIA operatives at a nearby compound that later came under attack itself.

• The U.S. military is absolved from any blame: “There was simply not enough time for armed U.S. military assets to have made a difference.”

The report made 29 recommendations to improve embassy security, particularly at high threat posts. Hillary Clinton said the State Department had already begun to implement some of the recommendations — increasing by several hundred the number of Marine guards stationed at diplomatic missions throughout the world; relying less on local security forces for protection at embassies, consulates and other offices; and increasing hiring and deployment of highly trained Diplomatic Security agents at at-risk posts. But Congress has denied some funding requests from the State Department for more security.

The Benghazi independent review was led by retired Ambassador Thomas Pickering and former chair of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Adm. Mike Mullen. The review studied thousands of pages of cables and other documents, hours of video and intelligence, and interviewed more than 100 people, including survivors. They will testify before the House and Senate foreign affairs committees behind closed doors today, Dec. 19, 2012.

None of this should come as a surprise to informed Americans because we’ve known for months now that Obama and the State Department had lied about Benghazi from the beginning.

Separated at birth: James Bond villain Ernst Blofeld & Hillary Clinton

As for Hillary, she is supposed to testify before the House Foreign Affairs Committee on Benghazi tomorrow. But lo and behold, two days ago we were told she got a BRAIN CONCUSSION (gasp!) when she fainted (gasp!) at home and hit her head (gasp!). The State Department says she fainted from dehydration after a “stomach virus”.

According to WebMD, brain concussion is a type of traumatic brain injury that is caused by a blow to the head or body, a fall, or another injury that jars or shakes the brain inside the skull. In rare cases concussions cause more serious problems.

Oddly, despite having a BRAIN CONCUSSION (gasp!), there are no reports that Hillary has sought medical care or gone to a hospital.

So much for her grand and noble and empty proclamation on Oct. 15, 2012, that “I take responsibility” for what happened in Benghazi.

New U.S. Army manual forbids our soldiers from criticizing Islam

The evidence is mounting that the Obama regime at best coddles radical Muslims, at worst it’s actively supporting and arming them. To wit:

• The Obama regime refuses to call US Army psychologist Nidal Hasan, who perpetrated the worst shooting ever to take place on a U.S. military base, at Fort Hood on November 5, 2009 — an Islamic jihadist. Despite eyewitness testimonies that Hasan had shouted “Allahu Akbar! (Allah is Great!)” before opening fire, killing 13 and wounding another 29; and regardless of internal Army reports indicating Hasan’s fellow officers had reported his outspoken sympathy with radical Islam since 2005.

• In August 2011, afraid of offending the delicate sensibilities of Muslims, the U.S. Marine Corps banned Marines serving in Afghanistan from — I kid you not — audible farting.

• In Sept. 2012, a highly-decorated 18-year veteran Army officer, Lt. Col. Matthew Dooley, was fired from teaching a course on Islam because he had the temerity of actually teaching “negative aspects” the truth about Islam. (More evidence at the end of this post.)

The latest is a new U.S. Army handbook for troops deployed to the Middle East, forbidding our soldiers from making derogatory comments about the extremist Taliban, pedophilia, or Islam in general, as well as any comment approving of rights for women.

Aren’t we fighting the Taliban in Afghanistan? So if the Obama regime were in power then, U.S. soldiers in the Second World War would have been barred from making “derogatory comments” about Hitler and the Nazis.

What lunacy.

The non-partisan public interest organization Judicial Watch reports Dec. 11, 2012:

Here is a strong indicator that the Obama Administration’s crusade to appease Islam has gone too far; a new U.S. military handbook for troops deployed to the Middle East orders soldiers not to make derogatory comments about the Taliban or criticize pedophilia, among other outrageous things.

It gets better; the new manual, which is around 75 pages, suggests that Western ignorance of Afghan culture— not Taliban infiltration—is responsible for the increase in deadly attacks by Afghan soldiers against the coalition forces.

The soon-to-be-released Army handbook is still being drafted, but [The Wall St. Journal] … got a sneak preview and published an article [for subscribers only] that should infuriate the American taxpayers funding the never-ending war on terror. The manual is being created because someone with authority bought the theory that cultural insensitivity is driving insider attacks on U.S. troops in Afghanistan.

More than three dozen insider attacks have killed 63 members of the U.S.-led coalition this year, according to the article, and some blame “American cultural ignorance.” The bottom line is that troops may experience social-cultural shock and/or discomfort when interacting with Afghan security forces, the new military handbook says. “Better situational awareness/understanding of Afghan culture will help better prepare [troops] to more effectively partner and to avoid cultural conflict that can lead toward green-on-blue violence.”

The draft leaked to the newspaper offers a list of “taboo conversation topics” that soldiers should avoid, including “making derogatory comments about the Taliban,” “advocating women’s rights,” “any criticism of pedophilia,” “directing any criticism towards Afghans,” “mentioning homosexuality and homosexual conduct” or “anything related to Islam.”

At least one high-ranking military official had the backbone to publicly criticize the new manual, albeit through a spokesperson. U.S. Marine General John Allen, the top commander in Afghanistan, doesn’t endorse it and rejected a proposed forward drafted by Army officials in his name. “He does not approve of its contents,” according to a military spokesman quoted in the story.

Earlier this year the Obama Administration changed the way federal agents are trained to combat terrorism and violent extremism by eliminating all materials that shed a negative light on Muslims. Under White House orders, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) destroyed instructional material that characterizes Muslims as prone to violence or terrorism in a government-wide call to end Islamophobia.

Under Obama practically every major federal agency has been ordered to participate in Muslim outreach initiatives, including the Justice Department with a special program to protect Islamic civil rights, Homeland Security meetings with extremist Muslim organizations and the nation’s space agency (NASA) with an unprecedented mission to focus on Muslim diplomacy.

Additionally, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton signed a special order to allow the reentry of two radical Islamic academics whose terrorist ties long banned them from the U.S. and the administration sent an America-bashing mosque leader (Feisal Abdul Rauf) who blames U.S. foreign policy for the 9/11 attacks on a Middle Eastern outreach mission. The Obama Administration even ordered a government-funded meal program for home-bound seniors to offer halal cuisine prepared according to Islamic law.

About U.S. Marine General John Allen who has refused to endorse the new Muslim-appeasing military manual: This is the same Gen. Allen whose previously-announced promotion is now indefinitely postponed, and who will soon be replaced by Gen. Joseph Dunford as commander of U.S. forces in Afghanistan.
