Parents Upset Over Tutoring Program That Excluded Whites

A Colorado school principal is apologizing after he mailed parents a letter informing them that an after-school tutoring program was for non-whites only.

Andre Pearson, the principal at Mission Viejo Elementary School in Aurora, also left a voice mail message confirming that the program excluded whites.

“It’s focused for and designed for children of color,” Principal Pearson said in a voicemail to parent Nicole Cox. “If we have space for other kids who have needs, we can definitely meet those needs.”

The voicemail was obtained by CBS-4 News in Denver.

“I was infuriated,” Cox told the television station. “I didn’t understand why they would include or exclude certain groups.”

Cox, who is white, said her daughter needed tutoring.

“We have come so far in all these years to show everybody that everyone is equal, that everyone should be treated equally – this is a form of bullying,” she said.

Tustin Amole, the director of communications for the Cherry Creek School District, told Fox News it was simply a mistake.

“The communication the principal sent out was wrong,” she said. “He made a mistake and he has apologized for that.”

Amole said the tutoring program was created last year in a partnership with parents of color. The purpose of the program was to talk about how the school could meet the needs of their children.

“We have a performance plan for the entire school district and a very big piece of that is excellence in equity – narrowing our achievement gap,” she said.

Amole said white students were a part of the program last year and this year. Approximately 44 percent of the children in the district are non-white.

“No one is turned away,” she said. “There is no segregation. We serve the needs of all children.”

She would not comment on whether the principal faces disciplinary action. However, she did say that parents would be receiving an apology letter and it would also be posted on the school’s website.

The man pulls off his oxygen mask,

Smiles at her and

Says very slowly,

‘Thank you very much. That was

Wonderful, but listen

Hi Steve,
What a difference a couple of days make.  Grouchy is on the mend and I spoke with 2 of his doctors today.  They took him off IV’s and put him on a regular diet and said if could tolerate that, they would release him tomorrow into my capable hands.  LOL
I have to be honest with you Steve.  We almost lost him because of his cardiologist.  Needless to say that cardiologist is no longer going to get near him. (Hey Give me the word, I’ll have a chat with him. ) We have a new one who worked very hard over the weekend to keep him here with us a while longer and he told me that the one up in Denver almost killed him with the drugs he prescribed. So Grouchy fought hard to stay and I will be happy when I get him here.

According to data from the free dating site OKCupid, which The Boston Globe calls “the Google of online dating,” Portland, Oregon, has the distinction of being America’s sluttiest city.

Amy Rolph writes for the seattlepi, August 19, 2011, that OKCupid arrived at this determination by mapping where site users seeking “causal sex” are located. Those numbers were converted to percentages to determine which cities are the most promiscuous.

Here are the top 10 sluttiest cities in America:

Weird 11-2 Ballot Initiatives

What took place last Tuesday on November 2 was a Conservative electoral tsunami, the beginning of our taking back our country from the Left’s decades-long “transformation” hi-jacking of America. Little publicized and little known are two very strange but interesting state initiatives: The Denver ET vote and the Cambridge NWO vote.

The Greys are the most often reported ETs purportedly seen by abductees. Christians and some UFologists believe they are actually demons in the guise of ETs.

In Denver, Colorado, citizens were asked to vote on Initiative 300:

“Shall the voters for the City and County of Denver adopt an Initiated Ordinance to require the creation of an extraterrestrial affairs commission to help ensure the health, safety, and cultural awareness of Denver residents and visitors in relation to potential encounters or interactions with extraterrestrial intelligent beings or their vehicles, and fund such commission from grants, gifts and donations?” 
Yes___ No___

The proposed ordinance includes a declaration of findings, purposes of the commission, appointing the members, and powers and duties of the commission. The commission would be funded by grants, gifts and donations and would not require any funding from the Denver city budget.

Had it passed, the Denver mayor would have to select seven volunteers for a commission to meet twice a year and gather the most compelling evidence regarding the existence of extraterrestrials and UFOs and put it on the city’s website. In addition, the initiative’s author, Jeff Peckman, said the commission would have been a place where citizens could report sightings and where the risks and benefits of assess the risks and benefits of dealing with the E.T.s. could be assessed.

Initiative 300 was voted down by a whopping 84% majority (84 to 16) of Denver voters.

One world government

In Cambridge, Massachusetts, voters were asked to indicate their preferences concerning the non-binding Question 4: 

Shall the state representative from this district be instructed to vote to amend the state constitution to allow Massachusetts voters, through a law enacted by initiative petition, to vote to delegate their powers concerning international affairs to a democratically elected legislative body of a global federal union of democratic nations?

Although the measure was rejected (57% or 1,960 “No” votes vs. 43% or 1,480 “Yes” votes), although it is still disconcerting that as many as 1,480 American citizens are prepared to cede their sovereign rights as Americans to a supposedly-democratically-elected global government!
