Obama administration lied about Benghazi attack from the beginning

The Obama administration is led by liars so pathological, they can no longer distinguish between truth vs. falsity. The latest example is Democratic National Committee chair Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-FL).

Two days ago, Schultz told the ultimate of Orwellian double-speak lies. Reacting to new information from multiple sources indicating that the White House and State Dept knew full well the 9-11 2012 attack on our consulate in Benghazi, Libya, and the killing of Ambassador Christopher Stevens (who was tortured and sodomized) and three other diplomatic staff members, were terrorist acts rather than reaction to a little-seen anti-Muslim video, Schultz said that the Obama administration’s FALSE portrayal of the attack “doesn’t mean it was false.“

Anthony Martin reports for Examiner.com, October 11, 2012, that Schultz’s comments came as the administration continues to attempt damage control in light of the fact that new information from multiple sources, including the White House, the State Department, and the Defense Department indicates that Obama, Hillary Clinton, and U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Susan Rice issued statements within 24 hours of the attacks that not only were false but that the government knew were false.

The Examiner was among the first of a very small number of media outlets to report that the Obama administration knew within 24 hours that the attacks were terrorist related with connections to al Qaeda. In recent days that early report was confirmed by the administration itself.

Yet Obama went to the United Nations and claimed that the attacks were a spontaneous response to a video on YouTube, which he described as a film that attacks the prophet Muhammad. This false explanation was repeatedly used by administration officials and parroted by mainstream media outlets, national and local, all over the country.

But intelligence officials on the ground in Libya reported the day after the attack that no such protest against the film occurred. Nothing was said about the film by anyone in the Libyan government or by extremist insurgents in the country.

In spite of these facts, Obama persisted in claiming the attacks and ensuing murders of U.S. officials were motivated by Muslim outrage toward the film. Even when Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and Defense Secretary Leon Panetta finally admitted that the scenario was a terrorist attack, Obama still persisted in avoiding describing the attack as terror related and continued to blame the incident on the film.

On Wednesday a State Department official, testifying before a House committee investigating the growing scandal, stated that she was monitoring the developments on the ground in Libya in real time, as the events unfolded, and admitted that nothing in the record indicated any spontaneous protest against the film. The admission brought forth a stinging response from House Republicans, particularly U.S. Rep. Trey Gowdy, R-S.C., who launched into a tirade about the numerous lies told by administration officials such as Obama, Hillary Clinton, Jay Carney, and Susan Rice.

Not only did the administration know as the events unfolded that the incident was terror related and had nothing to do with the film, but information has also been disclosed indicating that the U.S. Consulate in Libya had prior information about the growing threat of terrorism, that their lives were endangered, and that their security was woefully inadequate should an incident occur. Requests for increased security measures submitted to the administration in Washington were denied.

Thus, at least four top administration officials are on record giving the public erroneous information, including the president, Hillary Clinton, Press Secretary Jay Carney, and Ambassador Rice. From the beginning the record shows that these officials knew the information was false even as they provided it. And for the chair of the DNC to claim that false information is not false, particularly when the parties involved knew it was false, only highlights the deception.

The motivation for the lies has also come to light. Al Qaeda, according to the president, has been de-fanged and nearly decimated. Terrorism has been squelched under his administration, if one believes the Obama spin. For the administration to admit that al Qaeda-inspired terrorism is behind the attacks is contrary to a central campaign theme for Obama’s reelection. And for an attack like this to occur within two months of the election is a most inopportune happenstance, necessitating not only a false explanation but a cover up of the woeful inadequacies of administration foreign policy, including the bungled process of insuring U.S. diplomats are afforded adequate security in dangerous regions of the world.

To recap:

• The White House and the State Department knew as the attack was happening in Benghazi that it was an act of terrorism and that the anti-Muslim video had NOTHING to do with the attack.

• Yet, the United States President, Secretary of State, and Ambassador to the United Nations publicly blamed the attack on a little-known and little-seen movie, only a snippet of which is publicly available as a YouTube video. More than that, the U.S. government is hounding a Southern Californian filmmaker identified as “a key figure” behind the movie.

• After being told about the terrorist attack — that AK-47s and rocket-propelled grenades were used by the terrorists, and that our consulate staff were in grave danger, including our ambassador to Libya — without knowing the status of Amb. Stevens, Obama went back to bed. When he awoke, he flew to Las Vegas, NV for a campaign event.

• Despite knowing full well the video had nothing to do with the attack, Hillary Clinton apologized to Muslims for the video having hurt their feelings.

• Days later, even after Hillary and the Secretary of Defense admitted that Benghazi was a terrorist attack, Obama still persisted in blaming the attack on the movie.

• The State Department had been warned that a terrorist attack was imminent and that the security of our embassies and diplomatic offices overseas — including the consulate in Benghazi — needed reinforcement. Ambassador Stevens even requested protection. BUT THE OBAMA ADMINISTRATION DID NOTHING. Worse still, U.S. embassy guards didn’t carry ammunition.

The abominable Obama administration is led by pathological liars with the father of all lies at the top. Obama and Hillary Clinton have the blood of Amb. Stevens, Sean Smith, and ex-Navy SEALS Tyrone Woods and Glen Doherty on their hands.

Tavis Smiley defends Libya Muslim killers

Yesterday afternoon, on the Sean Hannity radio talk show, I heard PBS’s liberal talk show host Tavis Smiley actually defend the Muslim savages in Libya and Cairo, who attacked the U.S. embassy in Cairo and the U.S. consulate in Benghazi; and tortured, killed, and dragged the body of our ambassador to Libya, Christopher Stevens, through the streets. Those actions are acts of war.

Smiley said that Christians in America do the same thing whenever Hollywood has a movie or TV show that Christians find offensive.

That’s a scurrilous lie. U.S. Christians write petitions, letters, emails to the TV network or company in question, and launch boycotts of the offending businesses. U.S. Christians had NEVER stormed an embassy, torn down and shredded any country’s flag, set fire to any building, or tortured and killed people.

Despite Hannity repeatedly pointing out that it is not true, and that Christians respond at most with boycotts instead of with violence, Smiley wouldn’t change his obnoxious stance.

I don’t watch Smiley’s show and I most certainly will NEVER EVER watch or buy anything he does. If I ever see his face or hear his voice, I will throw up.

He is despicable. Evil.

The same consulate was bombed this June, but the Obama Administration did nothing.

CBS News reports that Wanis al-Sharef, a Libyan Interior Ministry official in Benghazi, said Ambassador Stevens, 52, and other officials were moved to a second building – deemed safer – after the initial wave of protests at the Benghazi consulate compound. But members of the Libyan security team guarding the U.S. consulate “seem to have indicated to the protesters the building to which the American officials had been relocated.” The mob then attacked that second building, and killed Stevens and three other Americans.

Al-Sharef said two U.S. Marines sent to Benghazi when the clash erupted were shot and killed by the well-armed protesters. It was not immediately clear whether the Marines were part of Stevens’ security detail. The American whose death was confirmed on Tuesday also died of a gunshot wound. He was identified by the State Department on Wednesday as Foreign Service Information Management Officer Sean Smith.

Front Page Magazine reports Ambassador Stevens was tortured: “The latest reports say that he did not die of gunshot wounds, but of suffocation, that would mean that he was likely manually killed.”

Muslims rampage and kill a U.S. ambassador over this movie?

Yesterday, on the 11th anniversary of 9/11, crazy Muslims in Egypt and Libya went on a rampage.

In Egypt, a mob of 2,000 stormed the U.S. embassy in Cairo, shredded the American flag and replaced it with a black flag praising Allah and Muhammad.

In Libya, a group close to al Qaeda attacked the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, then fired a rocket at the car carrying U.S. Ambassador Christopher Stevens, killing him and three other embassy staff.

According to all accounts, including the NY Times, the attackers blame this movie about Muhammad as their excuse to riot, loot and kill. Here’s the trailer (watch it before YouTube pulls it):

But Creeping Sharia points out that the above video has been on Youtube since July and the Arabic version has been up for a week.

In other words, the movie is a ruse.

The clue is in the timing of events.

Both violent incidents in Egypt and Libya took place on what day?

September 11, 2012

• the 11th anniversary of 9/11; and

• a day after CBS 60 Minutes’ broadcast of Scott Pelley’s extensive interview with “Mark Owen,” the former Navy SEAL and author of Killing Bin Laden, his book on Navy SEAL Team 6′s assassination of Osama bin Laden.

Mostafa Hussein, a psychiatrist and blogger, pointed to a photograph that showed that the protesters had also scrawled the name Osama bin Laden on a sign outside the Cairo embassy.

UPDATE: Both the U.S. House Intelligence Committee and the Pentagon now say the attacks were not random mob events reacting to the movie, but rather well-planned, well-coordinated, well-armed terrorist attacks. See my post on this here.

Muslims kill US ambassador to Libya; Hillary apologizes for hurting their feelings

Yesterday, a Muslim mob stormed the U.S. embassy in Cairo, tearing the American flag to shreds and replacing it with a black Islam flag proclaiming how “great” their demon-god Allah is. The mob rampaged and desecrated the U.S. flag in protest against a new movie that they claim is disrespectful of Islam’s prophet Muhammad, if he actually existed.

Muslims in Libya also ran amuck in a rage about the same movie. They stormed the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, with a dozen Americans inside, guarded only by inept Libyan security; then launched a rocket attack on a car carrying the U.S. ambassador to Libya, 52-year-old Christopher Stevens, killing him and three other embassy staff.

The U.S. ambassador to Libya and three other embassy staff were killed in a rocket attack on their car, a Libyan official said, as they were rushed from a consular building stormed by militants denouncing a U.S.-made film insulting the Prophet Mohammad.

Gunmen had attacked and burned the U.S. consulate in the eastern city of Benghazi, a center of last year’s uprising against Muammar Gaddafi, late on Tuesday evening, killing one U.S. consular official. The building was evacuated.

The Libyan official said the ambassador, Christopher Stevens, was being driven from the consulate building to a safer location when gunmen opened fire. [...] Libyan deputy prime minister Mustafa Abu Shagour condemned the killing of the U.S. diplomats as a cowardly act.

The consular official had died after clashes between Libyan security forces and Islamist militants around the consulate building. Looters raided the empty compound and some onlookers took pictures after calm returned.

[...] U.S. pastor Terry Jones, who had inflamed anger in the Muslim world in 2010 with plans to burn the Koran, said he had promoted “Innocence of Muslims”, which U.S. media said was produced by an Israeli-American property developer; but clips of another film called “Mohammad, Prophet of Muslims”, had been circulating for weeks before the protest. That film portrayed Mohammad as a fool, a philanderer and a religious fake. In one clip posted on YouTube Mohammad was shown in a sexual act with a woman.

Jones, a pastor in Florida whose latest stunt fell on the anniversary of the September 11, 2001, attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon, triggered riots in Afghanistan in 2010 with his threat to burn the Koran.

Many Muslims consider any depiction of the Prophet offensive and any depiction of him can cause outbursts of anger in the Islamic world and among Muslims in Europe.

Libya’s interim government has struggled to impose its authority on a myriad of armed groups that have refused to lay down their weapons and often take the law into their own hands. It was clearly overwhelmed by Tuesday night’s attack on the consulate that preceded the assault on the ambassador. “The Libyan security forces came under heavy fire and we were not prepared for the intensity of the attack,” said Abdel-Monem Al-Hurr, spokesman for Libya’s Supreme Security Committee.

In Benghazi, unidentified men had shot at the consulate buildings, while others threw handmade bombs into the compound, setting off small explosions.

ABC News says a group called Ansar al Sharia, with close ties to al Qaeda, has claimed “responsibility” for the attacks in Libya. A senior U.S. official said the State Department is on alert throughout the Arab region and fear there could be more attacks to come.”

While condemning the attacks, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton also apologized for Muslims getting their “feelings” hurt. Referring to the movie, she condemns “the continuing efforts by misguided individuals to hurt the religious feelings of Muslims.” (via Washington Post)

Way to go, Hillary and your boss, the POS in the Oval Office, making a moral equivalence between a movie that Muslims find offensive, and the assassination of a U.S. ambassador and the storming of a U.S. embassy and a U.S. consulate.
