Planned Parenthood Purchases New $35M National HQ in NYC

The nation’s biggest abortion business has purchased part of a building in New York City that will become its national headquarters. New city records reveal Planned Parenthood purchased a commercial condo unit at 424 West 33rd Street for $34.8 million.

According to The Real Deal, a New York City real estate news web site, Planned Parenthood originally signed a 20-year lease for 104,000 square feet of the 200,000-square-foot former industrial building that was converted into an office and condo building in 2002. The building had rented at about $35 per square foot until the abortion business purchased the commercial condo from Vectra Management Group, a real estate firm that had owned the building since 2000.

The web site indicates Planned Parenthood had been considering purchasing part of the building since it began leasing the space, because an option in its rental contract gave it the option to purchase, legal documents filed with the city show.

“The two parties had originally agreed to draft a sale contract shortly after the lease was signed, but their inability to come to an agreement on the terms of the deal led to seven years of negotiations, followed by legal proceedings, the legal documents said,” according to TRD. “Planned Parenthood left its longtime home at 810 Seventh Avenue, between 52nd and 53rd streets, to relocate to West 33rd Street about 10 years ago.”

Meanwhile, the city of New York, currently run by aggressively pro-abortion Mayor Michael Bloomberg, provided $15,000,000 in bond funding for Planned Parenthood to renovate the building.

It’s not my fault I’m a sex addict: Woman reveals she has slept with more than 1,000 men

DailyMail: A 42-year-old woman has notched up more than 1,000 lovers, and had already chalked up 40 by the time she was just 17.

Crystal Warren, a retail manager from Brighton puts her sex addiction down to witnessing the painful breakdown of her parents marriage when she was five-years-old. ‘People don’t usually associate sex addiction with women,’ Crystal told the Daily Mirror. ‘We’re normally the ones accused of making excuses before the lights go off but with me it’s different. I think about sex all day.’

At the weekend she says she often leaves the house in the middle of the day to find men at pubs or coffee shops to pick up and take home.  On a bad day she has admitted to having sex with seven different men in 24 hours, sometimes a few at a time.  With such a high number in just one day she confessed it was difficult to fit it all in, and would sleep with a man in the morning, one at lunch and then as many as possible in the evening.

Miss Warren lost her virginity when she was 15 and believes she became a sex addict almost instantaneously.  The feeling of being wanted by her first lover drove her on for more and more sexual experiences and shortly after her first time she was having sex with new man every other month.  By the time she was 17 she had slept with 40 people.

She didn’t think it was a particularly high number for one so young as she assumed all the girls in her Somerset village were doing the same.  ‘I didn’t know 40 men was more than most women sleep with in a lifetime. All I knew was that I felt good about myself when I was having sex.‘

When she was in her 20s she put her overwhelming desire to have more and more conquests down to simply having a high sex drive.  Looking back she says, she should have realised she was in the grip of an addiction. 

Miss Warren claims she has always practices safe sex. She isn’t able to have children but ensures she doesn’t contract any STIs.  In line with other addictions MIss Warren says if she doesn’t get what she wants she feels moody and frustrated.

‘I’d begin to feel hungry for sex,’ she says. ‘I’d go on the prowl for men on my lunch breaks. If I didn’t manage to have sex I’d be unproductive all afternoon. If I go without for a few days I start to feel desperately low, depressed and lack energy.’

She says people assume she is a slut but she insists the addiction means it is out of her control.  When she was 35 she noticed all her friends had begun to settle down, so she decided to begin dating younger men. This had the added benefit as they had the energy to keep up with her huge sexual demands.

She has even joined a specialist online dating website which helps her find men who can keep up with her high sex drive.  It was only when she hit 40, and her best friend turned her back on her did she finally confront her addiction.

‘I know I’m a sex addict, but I can’t face getting professional help. Sex is the only thing that makes me feel good about myself. I guess when the men start saying no, I’ll stop having sex. I know some people must think I’m a terrible person, but believe me I’m not proud of myself.’

This woman can’t face getting professional help yet can publicly advertise her “addiction”?  Seems like she’s seeking more attention, and possibly more “lovers”. 

Sad that sex is the only thing that makes her feel good about herself.

Out-Hoover Hoover: FBI wants massive data-mining capability for social media

The FBI is asking industry for help in developing a far-reaching data-mining application that can gather and analyze intelligence from social media sites.

The FBI wants “to determine the capability of industry to provide an open source and social media alert, mapping, and analysis application”, the agency said in a request for information (RFI).

“The application must have the ability to rapidly assemble critical open source information and intelligence that will allow SIOC [Strategic Information and Operations Center] to quickly vet, identify, and geo-locate breaking events, incidents and emerging threats”, the RFI explained.

The application must be able to provide an “automated search and scrape capability of both social networking sites and open source news sites for breaking events, crisis, and threats.”

The FBI also wants the capability to analyze the social media data to provide early warning; detect credible threats or monitor adversarial situations; locate bad actors or groups and analyze their movements, vulnerabilities, limitations, and possible adverse actions; predict likely developments or future actions taken by bad actors; and develop databases on the information gathered from social media sites.

Nowhere in this detailed RFI, however, does the FBI ask industry to comment on the privacy implications of such massive data collection and storage of social media sites. Nor does the FBI say how it would define the “bad actors” who would be subjected this type of scrutiny.

I am dismissing the terrorist angle right off the bat, as given perhaps a handful of kook exceptions, most truly determined terrorists are not going to announce their intentions on a public forum.

That brings us to a far larger question which is, what exactly is the government looking to do here?

Having read a great deal of history over the course of my life, I am fully aware that all governments have their totalitarian leanings, and ours is no different.

Historically, governments do not much like dissent, and as they become larger and more powerful, their intolerance of dissent grows right along with them. At first, it is threats and intimidation. Later on, it becomes incarceration, and all too often after that come the gallows, firing squads, or the gas chambers.

Way back in the Usenet days, I formed a theory that government was most likely monitoring what was being posted, and probably recording things that might catch its interest. In the years since and given what I have seen, that theory has been reinforced several times over.

Of course, there is no case to be made that government monitoring public forums is illegal, but the idea that it may ultimately be not a little sinister is not all that much of a stretch.

After all, we are now existing in a surveillance society, and when you factor in the Obama administration’s track record of open hostility when it comes to its detractors, the term ‘bad actor’ could mean just about anything.

You see, it is not the terms themselves, but who gets to define them that ultimately matters.

Today, January 29, is the birthday of our beloved fellow who insists on being known as Anonymous.

I do know his identity (DCG too! hehehe), as well as why he must remain anonymous. 

Suffice it to say Anon is an honorable upright man who has good reasons to be discreet.

In the name of a woman’s “right to privacy” under the due process clause of the Constitution’s 14th Amendment, the floodgates were opened to legalized abortion. In those 39 years, more than 54 million (54,559,615) tiny human beings were killed.

Have you ever listened to the Roe v Wade arguments?

Sarah Weddington was the young attorney who represented “Jane Roe” (real name Norma McCorvey) before the Supreme Court. The legality of abortion hinges on the unborn not being recognized as a “person” in the U.S. legal system. Not being recognized as “persons” in turn means that the unborn human life has no constitutional right to protection of “life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.”

All of that is curious to say the least, given the Supreme Court’s 2010 ruling that business corporations are “persons” under the law.

During Weddington’s appearance before the Supreme Court in the Roe v Wade hearing, every time when the subject of whether the unborn is a “person” came up, there was laughter in the audience. You can hear the tittering at the 0:33 and 1:00 marks in this audio:

Go to this site for another audio. Laughter can be heard at the 24:00 and 24:10 marks, every time someone said “If it was established that a fetus were a person under the Constitution….”

So my question is:

What is so darn funny about abortion? What is so funny about discussing killing “a fetus” an unborn human being?

In 1994, 21 years after Roe v Wade, “Jane Roe” Norma McCorvey converted to Christianity and expressed remorse for her part in the Supreme Court decision. She began working in the pro-life movement, such as Operation Rescue. In 1998, at age 51, McCorvey was formally received into the Roman Catholic Church. At the same time, she declared she was no longer a lesbian.

Sarah Weddington enjoyed much professional success after Roe v Wade. She was a legislator in the Texas House of Representatives from 1972 to 1977; General Counsel for the U.S. Department of Agriculture in 1977; and a special White House advisor in the Carter administration, during which time she helped appoint Ruth Bader Ginsburg to a federal judgeship. Weddington is currently an adjunct professor at the University of Texas at Austin. Now 67 years old, she remains unrepentant and continues to advocate abortion. In 2004, she was one of the speakers at a March for Women’s Life in Washington, DC.
