The mission of the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) is to collect taxes from individuals and groups, but to do so fairly by applying the the tax law with integrity and without prejudice. According to IRS Policy Statement 1-1, IRS employees accomplish this mission by being impartial and handling tax matters in a manner that will promote public confidence.

It is not the mission of the IRS to use political criteria to target certain individuals and groups for special scrutiny or audit.

On May 10, 2013, Americans learned that, instead of being apolitical, the Obama regime’s IRS had singled out for special scrutiny the tax documents of some 75 groups who, for the lack of a better term, are not fans of President Lucifer.

That day, the IRS issued an apology to conservative political groups — groups with names that had words like “tea party” and “patriot” — for having been subjected to extra scrutiny. But the IRS insisted that “Mistakes were made initially, but they were in no way due to any political or partisan rationale.”

Since last Friday, each new day brings more information of the IRS’s misdeeds. They include the following:

• Former Defense Secretary Don Rumsfeld reveals in his new book, Rumsfeld’s Rules, Leadership lessons in Business, Politics, War and Life, that outspoken businesses critical of the federal government are also singled out by the IRS and Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). • Even worse, the IRS went beyond using political criteria to single out certain groups for extra scrutiny. The IRS violated confidentiality by giving the confidential applications for tax-exempt status of nine conservative groups to a George Soros-funded journalism group, ProPublica. (Source: Breitbart)

• The IRS also leaked the 2008 confidential financial documents of the National Organization for Marriage, a pro-traditional marriage organization, to the leftwing Human Rights Campaign (HRC). Those documents were published on the Huffington Post on March 30, 2012. The jury deliberating in the capital murder trial against former Philadelphia abortion doctor Kermit Gosnell says they’re hung on two counts.

The jury of seven women and five men are weighing more than 250 charges against the Gosnell with the most serious being four counts of first-degree murder.

It is currently unclear on which charges the jury is deadlocked, but the group told the court it has reached unanimous decisions on all other counts.

Around 10:00 a.m. Monday, the jury passed a note to Common Pleas Judge Jeffrey P. Minehart explaining their situation. The admission came on the 10th day of deliberations.

By law, according to attorneys for both sides, Judge Minehart is required to re-instruct the jury to deliberate on the two charges a second time and attempt to reach a verdict.

udge Minehart brought the jury into the courtroom on the third-floor of the Philadelphia Criminal Justice Center around 11:15 a.m.

Over a five minute meeting, he reminded the jury they must be unanimous on all counts and asked the group to return to the jury room and discuss the charges further. The group was grim-faced as they were led from the court.

Judge Minehart called the jury sincere, considerate and serious. The judge also said he wanted to make sure the group was not confused over the charges.

The jury now has three options: return to court with a question, request to re-examine evidence to try and break the deadlock or re-iterate they’ll be unable to reach a consensus on the charges.

Gosnell faces four counts of first-degree murder for his alleged role in the deaths of four babies. Prosecutors allege Gosnell delivered the babies alive during abortion procedures and then snipped their spinal cords with scissors to end their life.

The 72-year-old is also charged with third-degree murder in the of former patient Karnamaya Mongar.

Mongar, 41, died after she was given a lethal dose of pain killers and anesthesia during a 2009 abortion procedure at Gosnell’s West Philadelphia clinic, the Women’s Medical Society.

The former doctor’s defense attorney has argued Gosnell would inject a drug into his patients’ uterus to stop the fetuses’ hearts before they were delivered.

The majority of the 268 charges levied against Gosnell are related to alleged Pennsylvania abortion-law violations. Prosecutors say Gosnell regularly performed late-term abortions on babies older than 24 weeks — the cutoff age in Pennsylvania.

Jurors are also deliberating a handful of crimes against Gosnell’s co-defendant Eileen O’Neill. Prosecutors say O’Neill deceived patients and insurance companies by pretending to be a licensed physician and billing for those services.

Her defense has said while O’Neill was not licensed, she did have a medical degree and would always have Gosnell sign off on her recommendations and prescriptions. O’Neill’s attorney also said there is no evidence of the 56-year-old charging for her services.

The trial, which began on March 18, stretched on for nearly two months before being handed off to the jury.

The alleged crimes came to light on February 10, 2010 after investigators from the Federal Bureau of Investigation and Drug Enforcement Agency raided the inner-city clinic at 3801 Lancaster Avenue following a tip that a prescription pill mill was operating inside.

Agents were met, not with an illegal narcotics drug operation, but rather, unsanitary conditions. Investigators testified they found blood-stained rooms, filthy and old equipment and untrained staff. Aborted fetuses were stored in a basement freezer in plastic food containers and bags next to employee lunches. Severed feet from aborted babies were found preserved in jars around the clinic.

The conditions found inside the clinic led Philadelphia District Attorney Seth Williams to call the clinic a “house of horrors” in a 2011 grand jury report.

If convicted of first-degree murder, Gosnell faces the death penalty.

Your first mistake was thinking that I care about what happens to the GOP. There’s not a tinkers damn difference between Democrats and Republicans other than the pace that either will get the American people to the promised land of socialism. My generation sacrificed thousands of American lives in Korea and Vietnam fighting Marxism; now you want me to accept it, condone it and foster it here? No deal!

Your second mistake was playing the divide and conquer game. I did not see African Americans or Hispanic Americans on the battle fields of Vietnam; I don’t see African or Hispanic Americans here now. All I see in America is Americans. If you are not an American you do not belong here. This rhetoric tells me you are part of the problem, not the solution.

I find your comments about our “not needing to change our economic principles nor our values” interesting. If history is correct, we fought and beat Fascism during WWII. Somehow or another however, we practice Fascism here today. [1]  I don’t support that either.

With regard to our “values and conservative philosophy,” we differ. I’m a constitutional conservative; you are not. I support and defend the rule of law; you do not. Your willingness to “compromise” with the likes of Schumer, and McCain et al says a lot about who you are. They trash the Constitution and rule of law with every breath. Mit Gehangen, Mit Gefangen. [Note from Eowyn: "Mitgefangen, mitgehangen" is German for "Cling together, swing together" or "In for a penny, in for a pound".]

Similarly, I do not share the vision or the political construct you are pushing regarding Republicans reaching out to “new voters.” I do not share your ultimate vision of nations without borders.

What you propose is in the Humanist Manifesto of 1973 (Marxist) that deals with American sovereignty. It declares, “Americans must transcend the limits of national sovereignty and move toward the building of a world community. We look to a world order based on transnational federal government.”[7]

Charles Reich, in the “Greening of America,” the manifesto, said “The true revolution is occurring . . . At the present junction of history, commitment to all humankind is the highest commitment of which we are capable; it transcends the narrow allegiances to church, state, party, class or race in moving toward a wide vision. What more daring a goal for humankind than for each person to become, in ideal as well as practice, a citizen of the world community”.”[8]

The idea of the end of nations and the creation of a world government has been to dream of intellectuals since Kant. It is Christian Heresy. Trading the hereafter for the here-and now is the bargain. As Christianity dies in the West the foundation of the first floor of a world government is already in place. The Supreme Court ruling on religion was not an aberration or an accident. Neither is the current invasion of Illegal aliens.

The oft touted “Global Economy” is the precursor to global governance where the UN is the parliament, the Security Council is its upper chamber (abolishing the veto) the General Assembly is the lower house. The International Criminal Court, the World Court, and the World Trade Organization constitute its judicial branches; and the IMF is the Federal Reserve. The World Bank and its sister development banks are the foreign aid agencies. The UN Food and Agricultural Organization and the World Health Organization are an example of its welfare agencies. The Kyoto Protocol and global warming marks the creation of a global EPA. This represents the model and forerunner of the EU. [9] I do not support global governance; neither should you.

Like many other Americans I see my country transforming into something do not I recognize. I resent being a stranger in my own country.

I also reject and vehemently oppose

• Seeing old holidays disappear.
• Seeing old heroes degraded.
• Seeing the art and artifacts of a glorious past removed from their museums and replaced by authors and titles I have never heard of.
• Seeing the moral code I was raised with being overthrown by a popular culture that is saturated with raw sex that trumpets hedonistic values taught, encouraged, and condoned in public schools which is causing the culture I grew up to die inside the country I grew up in.
• God being dethroned, my heroes defiled, my culture polluted, my values assaulted and my country invaded.

In summary, I’d really be stupid if I supported your vision for this country with my time and money, don’t you think? When you tell your Republican backers and the rest of the world you are constitutionally ineligible to run for the presidency and you finally decide to do something about the sitting usurper, I will be happy to discuss my support for you. Until then, please take me off your list.

The POS in the White House is hellbent on destroying our military — the most powerful military in the world.

First, he got rid of the military’s “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” policy. But that wasn’t enough. Homosexuals are given preferential treatment in the military, whereas critics are silenced and punished.

Next came the purging of military officers, including five senior officers (Gen Carter Ham, Adm. Charles Gaouette, Gen. David Patraeus, Gen. John Allen, and Gen. James Mattis), as well as many lower-level officers. The latter include 157 U.S. Air Force officers who were fired on the eve of their retirement to avoid paying their pensions.

Next, VA hospitals are taking guns away from “disabled” veterans. (See “Obama regime prohibits disabled veterans from owning firearms and ammunition,” “Psychiatrist confirms Obama’s plan to confiscate guns from military vets,” and “CT police confiscated firearms from disabled Navy veteran.”)

Now, President Sauron has turned his evil eye to destroying the military’s command structure by requiring, for the first time in U.S. history, generals and admirals to be evaluated by their subordinates.

This change in military personnel policy ostensibly is to ensure that senior commanding officers will be people of good moral character. If you believe that, then you must also believe in the Easter Bunny. As if this president actually is concerned about moral character given:

• His admission in his autobiography that he did cocaine — an illegal narcotic — while in high school.
• According to Larry Sinclair, Obama’s use of cocaine continued at least into his years as an Illinois state senator.
• Then, there is the matter of his two homosexual hook-ups with Sinclair. (See “Obama’s Gay Sex Romps with Larry Sinclair,” May 31, 2010.)
• And don’t forget his patently fake birth certificate and his strange Connecticut-issued Social Security number.

There is no assurance that military subordinates will eschew politics in their evaluation of their superiors, nor is there a mechanism in place to prevent the intrusion of nonmilitary political matters into the personnel review process.

Here are excerpts from Thom Shanker’s article for the New York Times, April 13, 2013:

After a series of scandals involving high-ranking officers, the American military for the first time will require generals and admirals to be evaluated by their peers and the people they command on qualities including personal character.

The new effort is being led by Gen. Martin E. Dempsey, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, as part of a broad overhaul of training and development programs for generals and admirals. It will include new courses to train the security detail, executive staffs and even the spouses of senior officers.

Saying he was “disturbed about the misconduct issues,” General Dempsey said that evaluations of top officers needed to go beyond the traditional assessment of professional performance by superior officers alone. He said that he had decided the changes were necessary “to assess both competence and character in a richer way.”

“You can have someone of incredible character who can’t lead their way out of a forward operating base because they don’t have the competence to understand the application of military power, and that doesn’t do me any good,” General Dempsey said. “Conversely, you can have someone who is intensely competent, who is steeped in the skills of the profession, but doesn’t live a life of character. And that doesn’t do me any good.”

A significant number of military personnel have been investigated, penalized and fired in recent months for poor judgment, financial malfeasance and sexual improprieties or sexual violence. Others were relieved for inappropriate leadership judgment while in command.

General Dempsey said that regularly scheduled professional reviews would be transformed from top-down assessments to the kind of “360-degree performance evaluation” often seen in corporate settings. He acknowledged that the change had already drawn concern from some in the military’s senior ranks, who warned that it risked damaging a hierarchical command system based on discipline and adherence to orders from above.

[...] It is likely that the review will lead to a reduction in the overall number of generals and admirals, and the size of personal staffs, communications teams and security details. The review also looked at whether administrative staff members assigned to commanders had been used to run personal errands for officers and their spouses.

Among the serious cases of misconduct in recent months, the four-star general who previously served as the top officer in Africa, William Ward, was demoted to three-star general after an investigation into misuse of government funds, including lavish travel with his wife. A one-star officer, Jeffrey A. Sinclair, is facing a court-martial on sexual misconduct charges involving a subordinate.’

[...] Under General Dempsey’s plan, teams of inspectors will observe and review the procedures of commanders and their staffs. The inspections will not be punitive, but will provide a “periodic opportunity for general officers and flag officers to understand whether, from an institutional perspective, we think they are inside or outside the white lines,” he said. In addition, new programs will be instituted to ensure that a commander’s staff, and a spouse, are fully aware of military regulations.

[...] The list of subordinates asked to assess a senior leader would be drawn from those who had direct interaction with the commander.

General Dempsey said that both President Obama and Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel had approved the measures and given him free rein to carry them out as he saw fit.

Government increases “onerous activity” to confiscate legal firearms.

The New York State Police are suspending the handgun permits of people in the state who are prescribed anti-anxiety medication, according to Jim Tresmond of the Tresmond Law Firm in Hamburg, New York. Tresmond Law specializes in firearm litigation.

“We are representing a client right now who is impacted by this onerous activity of the government,” Tresmond told WBEN, a news talk radio station in Buffalo, New York.

“We were flummoxed by this whole matter,” the attorney said. “The HIPPA act is supposed to prevent this kind of thing from happening. It’s a gross invasion of our privacy rights.”

The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act Privacy Rule establishes national standards to protect individuals’ medical records and other personal health information, according to the Department of Health and Human Services.

Tresmond said the New York State Police are responsible for taking action against legal firearms owners. “Based on information the county received from the New York State Police, they’ve suspended the permits. The State Police instigates the proceedings.”

Section 9.46 of the NY SAFE Act of 2013 authorizes therapists, doctors, nurses and social workers to report patients they determine may engage in conduct that may result in harm to self or others. If a determination is made that the person in question poses a threat, the provision permits the government to confiscate firearms. The provision is a direct violation of the Fourth Amendment and the legal standard of probable cause.

Experts said many mental health providers will likely ignore the provision.

NY SAFE was passed by the New York State Legislature on January 15, 2013, and was signed into law by Governor Andrew Cuomo the same day.
