Here’s a simple but brilliant explanation to bring home how deceptive are the fiscal cliff deal and all talk by the Obama regime of cutting government deficit.
Lesson #1:
* U.S. Tax revenue: $2,170,000,000,000
* Fed budget: $3,820,000,000,000
* New debt: $ 1,650,000,000,000
* National debt: $16,428,000,000,000 (and increasing by each second)
* Recent budget cuts: $ 38,500,000,000
Let’s now remove 8 zeros and pretend it’s a household budget:
* Annual family income: $21,700
* Money the family spent: $38,200
* New debt on the credit card: $16,500
* Outstanding balance on the credit card: $164,280
* Total budget cuts so far: $385
Got It ?????
Lesson #2:
Here’s another way to look at the Debt Ceiling:
Let’s say, you come home from work and find there has been a sewer backup in your neighborhood, and your home has sewage all the way up to your ceilings.
What do you think you should do?
Raise the ceilings, or remove the shit?

Your showing 38.50
but its actually 385
Thanks for spotting the mistake!
I have seen this before, it’s priceless… the problem is that the people that NEED to see it and understand it – do not care!!!!
Ignorance seems incurable.
Ignorance of the willful variety. Information is plentiful in the Alternate Media but, strangely and disappointingly, so many Americans still get their info from the Old Media.
Its really pathetic that this country has elected so many morons!!!
“It is when a people forget God that tyrants forge their chains.”
Patrick Henry
“If you will not fight for right when you can easily win without bloodshed; if you will not fight when your victory will be sure and not too costly; you may come to the moment when you will have to fight with all odds against you and only a precarious chance of survival.”
Winston Churchill
“Resistance to tyranny becomes the Christian and social duty of each individual… Continue steadfast and, with a proper sense of your dependence on God, nobly defend those rights which heaven gave, and no man ought to take from us.”
