Our Visitors Are From…
Fellowship of the Minds has visitors from all over the world. One or more of our visitors is from the beautiful city of Torshavn, in the Faroe Islands. Set like emeralds in the North Atlantic, between The British Isles and Iceland, these islands are truly worth a visit.

Not this time of year though.
No, this would not be the time to go.
I needed to think pleasant thoughts this morning, and this Torshavn piece helped.
That’s amazing! I didn’t know that!
Torshavn reminds me of Port Wenn (Port Isaac in real life) of the delightful British TV series “Doc Martin.” I want to move there.
Good find, TD.
My sister just gave us the Doc Martin series for Christmas! Thank you for that note. Now I have some motivation to watch them.
It’s much like coastal BC. We have fjords as well, but the architecture is more recent, so most places lack the deeper historical appearance of Torshavn. Mid-Summer would be ideal for a visit in marine climates.
beautiful place, I will add this to my bucket list of places to visit, don’t know if I can stomach too much dried out whale and blubber, but the traditional dancing looked like fun, and i’ve got to have a grass roof! Love it!
Ditto on the whale meat thing.
Let’s go!!!
Sounds beautiful.
The islands look beautiful and the architecture is quaint. I think it would be nice to visit there though if I went to Europe I would prefer Ireland and Germany.
