The polls are looking worse and worse for Obama:
1. Gallup’s latest national poll of likely voters: 51% Romney v. 45% Obama.
2. Romney has closed a 26-point gap and is surging ahead of Obama in favorability ratings:
- In March 2012, Pew Research Center had Obama’s favorable rating at 55% vs. Romney’s 29%. But now, it’s Romney 50% vs. Obama 49%.
- Gallup also has Romney beating Obama on the favorability rating, 52% to 51%.
- Even the liberal DailyKos/SEIU/PPP poll has Romney beating Obama on the fave rating, 49% to 46%.
3. Romney is now leading in three battleground states:
- In Pennsylvania, it’s Romney 49% vs. Obama 45%.
- In Virginia, it’s Romney 50% vs. Obama 47%.
- In Florida, it’s Romney 51% vs. Obama 46%.
4. RealClearPolitics’s 2012 electoral map gives a plurality of Electoral College votes to Romney: 206 Romney v. 201 Obama (131 toss ups)

I live in PA, and although I can’t say there is a glut of Romney yard signs, there are more Romney yard signs than Obama’s. In 2008 everywhere you looked there were Obama signs. I have a feeling people might be voting R&R but don’t want to advertise it.

We cannot take anything for granted. EVERY vote must count. As I looked at the photo in this post of Romney, he truly does look like a good man. I know there are issues but I cannot even look at mr soetero without cringing and I am just so hopeful our country will be able to turn around.
It’s going to come down to how many electoral college votes Romney can capture vs Zero’s. It’s looking better , but I’m a tad nervous! I will be praying and praying. I just can’t face the prospect of 4 more of the abomination and his homies in power !
Another thing, in the next couple weeks before the election, it wouldn’t surprise me that this seedy admin. doesn’t pull some fast ones—they are going to get more desperate as it’s looking good for Romney—. They will pull no punches, I fear.
Thank you Dr. Eowyn for this wonderful post. The picture of Governor Romney clearly shows his kindness, his strength and goodness. What a great picture! We must continue to encourage people to vote for him and above all, to pray.
