Obama's "wedding" ring inscribed with "There is no god but Allah"

Although he claims to be a Christian, Obama’s been dropping clues all along that he’s Muslim.

Now author Jerome Corsi finally found the smoking gun.

It’s a gold ring Obama wears on the fourth “wedding-ring” finger of his left hand (see White House photo below), which all of us had thought is his wedding band.

Except it’s not.

In his bombshell of an article for WND, “Obama’s Ring: ‘There is No God But Allah’,” Corsi shows us the photographic evidence that Obama has been wearing that ring years before he married or had even met Michelle Robinson.

He’s been wearing that ring since at least his Occidental College days, as the following photos show:

We know Obama also wore that ring during his Harvard Law School years because WND reported that a satirical edition of the Harvard Law Review published by students in 1990 contains a mock Dewers Scotch profile advertisement poking fun at Obama. Among a list of Obama’s “Latest Accomplishments” is: “Deflecting Persistent Questioning About Ring On Left Hand.” The comment suggests the ring was a subject of student curiosity at the time and that Obama was secretive about why, though an unmarried single man, he had that ring on his wedding finger.

Here’s a closeup of the same gold ring that Obama is wearing to this day. Note that it is not a smooth band, but appears to be sculpted or incised:

So what is inscribed on this precious ring that Obama has worn since at least his late teen years?

WND asked Egyptian-born Islamic scholar Mark A. Gabriel, Ph.D., to examine these photographs of Obama’s ring. Gabriel’s expert opinion is that the ring is inscribed with these words in Arabic:

There is no god but Allah

That phrase is the first half of the Shahada. The Shahada is the first of the Five Pillars of Islam, expressing the two fundamental beliefs that make a person a Muslim:

1. There is no god but Allah
2. Muhammad is Allah’s prophet

Here’s the entire Shahada in Arabic script: لا إله إلا الله محمد رسول الله

Sincere recitation of the Shahada is the sole requirement for becoming a Muslim, as it expresses a person’s rejection of all other gods. Faithfully wearing a ring inscribed with the Shahada is even more a demonstration of commitment than a mere recitation. There can now be no doubt that Barry Soetoro Obama is a Muslim.

TheBlaze.com reporter Billy Hallowell asked a Duke University professor to read Jerome Corsi’s article. The professor, who wants to remain unnamed, examined the photos you see above and affirmed the conclusion of the WND experts. “Based on what he saw, he said that this is, essentially, Arabic script on the ring and that it is the first part of the Shahada,” Hollowell said.

Admittedly, the inscriptions on Obama’s rings are blockish instead of the usual flowing Arabic script. So some in the blogosphere (see for example this) claim that the inscriptions do not say “There is no god but Allah” but are just meaningless “squiggly” designs. In so doing, they effectively are calling Dr. Mark Gabriel and the Duke University professor liars. Dr. Gabriel, in particular, is putting his reputation on the line with his testimony. Between anonymous bloggers on the one hand vs. Dr. Gabriel and a Duke University prof, I think I’ll choose the latter.

Clearly, this ring has a deep personal meaning to the POS because he’s worn it for decades — and always on his wedding finger!

Hallowell also pointed out that the Duke U. professor cautioned that there is Islamic teaching that forbids wearing gold. In WND’s report, Dr. Gabriel had explained that despite prohibitions in Islamic law, many Muslim men wear gold rings, even in strict Muslim countries, particularly if they contain a religious message.
