This past week I had the chance to go to the gun range twice!
First I went on Ladies Night. This is great as all fees are waived, except for ammunition. I brought my own ammo so it cost me nothing to shoot! (I used ammo I received as a birthday gift.)
Yesterday I went with my new church group, “Breakfast & Bullets”. This was a great opportunity to: 1) meet new friends that like to shoot, 2) get tips from other shooters, and 3) try other firearms. I got to shoot three other guns (along with my own), including one that had a red dot laser sight. Not sure I liked that too much, although I only fired 7 rounds from that one. I also learned how to use a 9mm speed loader (that’s going on my Christmas list).
So ladies, remember to practice! Take advantage of gun range specials or join a shooting group. It’s a great way to get advice from more experienced shooters and learn how to shoot other firearms.
Be prepared to defend yourself and your family!

I do ,as much as possible. Yes It is fun. Guess who i see in my sights?
Funny you should post this today, because I did some target practice yesterday too. Hubs took me out to a caliche pit where we killed an old 55 gallon barrel and a couple of rusty cars. I got to fire a .45, a .38 and a .22. The .45 is too much gun, but the others weren’t so bad. It’s good to stay in practice.
