Former Obama voters feel cheated

Here’s what Breitbart.com’s Big Hollywood says about the video you’ve just watched:

“The Hope and the Change,” the latest project from Citizens United, directed by Stephen K. Bannon, the man behind “The Undefeated,” “Generation Zero,” and “Occupy Unmasked,” will debut next [later this] week during the Republican National Convention in Tampa.

And this is one partisan project not aimed at its own side.

The folks behind the film are directly targeting Democrats who may have had enough of the president’s “hope and change” razzle dazzle.

The film is slated for a September release in theaters, and will hit cable up until the election after that.

And it’s not kind to Obama.

“The Hope and the Change” is, according to the Daily Beast, “sophisticated and potentially potent effort … Instead of featuring strident partisan voices such as Morris or Ann Coulter, the cast of 40 is composed entirely of registered Democrats and independents who voted for Obama in 2008. This reflects a political premise shared by Bossie and Stephen K. Bannon, the film’s director—that the 2012 election will be decided by that group of voters in key states whose enthusiasm for Obama has descended toward disillusion.”

In this, both Bannon and Bossie are eminently correct. Obama’s greatest failure has been with those on his own side, who truly believed in their Hope and Change President. He’s fallen short. And Bannon and Bossie are tapping into the angst of former Obama supporters to make that case. They worked with liberal pollster Pat Caddell to design focus groups that would evaluate the ineffectiveness of the president.

The results are nothing less than stunning. And audacious. The opening of the film shows Barack Obama descending from the clouds via plane to the DNC in Denver, to a breathlessly waiting audience. The rest of the film shows how that breathlessness transformed into asphyxia.

As Caddell says, “Politically, this speaks to what really is the Obama crisis … I understand why Chicago never goes back to reminding people what they felt in 2008.”

Advertisement for the film is already in process. It will serve as both promotion for the movie and as a reminder to the public of what they had when Obama ran in 2008 — and what Obama has transformed his goodwill into.

The rollout for the film begins Friday, on Hannity (Fox News). Get ready. The Obama administration sure isn’t.

Please send the video to all the 2008 Obama voters on your e-list! :D

  1. I literally shouted a curse word at one point in the video. Thankfully, no one else was home. The woman at .35 seconds was needing inspiration because she was at a point in her life where she was “hopeless” and she believed Obama and the Government could change that. The man at .47 seconds says Obama was a “very good public speaker” and was taken by him.

This video reveals the mindset of millions of Americans and demonstrates the reality of Deception. When so many knew who Obama was and where America would be heading, why could not others?

  2. Don’t get fooled again… are you better off now than you were four years ago? (Unless your name has Soros, Rahm or Michelle in there somewhere, that’d be “no”.)

  3. Thank god you saw the light…

  4. I’ve said it before, never put your hope in a mere mortal man. He will always disappoint.
Most of the folks in the video were white. The blacks will still support him I’m afraid. Saw a bumper sticker on a black lady’s car today. Picture of a dog, said “I bark for Barack” Ugh!!

  5. You can’t argue or fix STUPIDITY!

  6. Those that voted for him because of his color will ALWAYS vote for him. They are mentally and emotionally incapable of processing facts or issues. All they see is the color brown. Change the ‘k’ in ‘bark’ to an ‘f’ . . . ‘I barf for barack’. Chances are they will never notice it and drive around with it until the election!

  7. I’m a conservative “senior” Independent who wasn’t wild about John McCain, but I knew darn well I didn’t want Obama calling the shots from the Oval Office. He wasn’t vetted at all. Only experience was as a Community Organizer from the Chicago Southside, groomed by the Chicago Mafia & Jeremiah Wright, flowery speech at the Dem convention in 2004, & Voila, Obama was suddenly the darling of the Democrats who set out to fool the voters into electing him – “Savior of the Republic.” As the granddaughter of “legal” European immigrants, I put great store in a person’s roots – both genetic & environmental in molding them. “The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree!” Obama’s roots are more than incredible – son of a Marxist Kenyan father & a hippie atheist White American mother who had a proclivity for Muslim men. That’s the DNA & environment that molded Obama, never mind his early years in Indonesia & return to Hawaii (’cause his Mother turned him over to her parents); years as a delinquent/radical college student by his own admission in his bio. Who on earth in their right minds would elect this guy as the leader of the “Free World?” But the electorate did, consequences are up front & center after 4 years, & he’s out beating the bushes for a second term, when he can be even “more flexible,” as the open mic caught him speaking to Russia’s leader a few months ago. I fear his campaign will work again w/the help of the mainstream media, the Blacks, Single Women; Hispanics; Gay community; & Unions, all of whom he’s pandering to in last-minute “executive order” announcements to circle the wagons into a 51% majority. I truly believe he’s gonna do it, but I’m very sad about the fruits of his labors for the next generations. I’ll be gone so won’t have to wrestle w/any of that.
