At a minimum, the Batman, James Holmes, and Sikh Temple “skits” are deeply offensive to American — and human — sensibilities. At a maximum, the closing ceremony is suggestive of some sick occultic paean and sacrifice to the Illuminati.

Right off the bat, the British are guilty of COMPLETELY INAPPROPRIATE AND HORRIBLE TASTE, in light of the two terrible tragedies that occurred in our country, the massacre of the victims by James Holmes and the massacre of the victims by Wade Michael. The world knew that James Holmes was mimicking the Joker with his dyed red fuzzy hair, and yet, four acrobats are also mimicking the joker with the red fuzzy hair. This tragedy is a FRESH INCIDENT CAUSING HORRIBLE SUFFERING and so this is terribly insensitive to the families of the numerous victims. The world also knew about the Sikh temple victims, yet we have Sikh temple dancers. Again, this tragedy is a FRESH INCIDENT CAUSING HORRIBLE SUFFERING and so this is also terribly insensitive to the families of the victims and to the healing of the members of the Sikh faith. And frankly, how does this “entertainment” relate to the closing of the Olympics for the international athletes, their families and those in attendance? How does the joker have any relationship in this setting and context to the Sikh dancers?
And Dr. Eowyn, your query regarding the use of the Masonic symbolism is also on point and a keen observation. And so what do these symbols have to do with the closing ceremony for international athletes? What do the four Joker acrobats, the Sikh dancers, the burning Phoenix with the compass and place for the eye, the pyramids/triangles have to tell us at an Olympic closing ceremony for the international community?
This is very BRASH and right at you, isn’t it! What is their point! I am glad that I did not watch the closing ceremony, although I thoroughly enjoyed watching the athletes.

I didn’t watch the Olympics but I was visiting with family when the closing ceremony or whatever they called it was on. Another thing I noticed that at one point there was some guy up on a podium or something, but he was actually “inside” a huge octopus in the center of the circle. I read years ago that the octopus was a symbol of the beast, 666. I was amazed (and very concerned) that no one else watching seemed to notice any of these things

I didn’t see any of the opening ceremony, and bits of the closing. What little I saw, I found to be very creepy. I’m grateful to those who pointed out all of the occult symbolism.
I was waiting for the whole thing to blow up as predicted in the Illuminati card game. That didn’t happen, but why all this? Trying to remind us they are still in control?

1. Since “this world” includes you, are you real?
