TOO amazing! This post came in *just* as I sent a reply to my late mom’s husband (a Holocaust survivor and staunch Conservative): “Root was a guest on Beck or Limbaugh recently. The MSM continues to turn a deaf ear to condemning facts. November can’t come soon enough!”
Bush was fighting two wars and borrowing 500 billion a year doing it. When Obama stepped into office he was borrowing 1,200 billion a year and giving it away to all the men in finance and banking. Nothing changed in the overall economy or the wars. What did change was the person in charge. The people profiting from Obama are few but they have every intention of keeping the money flowing from him to them.
I’m sorry, but I beg to differ: Bush, Jr., laid the groundwork for the modern Police State with the Patriot Act and DHS. His actions and policies also precipitated the Crash of 2008. Bush was no fiscal conservative; He was a fiscal socialist. And I cannot understand why there are so many people who cannot see through the Bush Facade (and it started with Poppy): They conned America into believing they were conservatives. They ARE NOT conservatives; They are Neo-Cons.
Yes, Obama is lower than low, but remember: George H.W. Bush is the new Paradigm President, because he deconstructed everything Reagan tried to and did accomplish. His policies and actions kicked the New World Order into high gear. He unleashed the Neo-Cons onto the political scene. And with every President since, it has only gotten progressively worse.
This is no time to delude ourselves yet once again.
I disagree that it was Bush’s policies that caused the 2008 crash. He was hamstrung by the dems – Bawney, Frank, Dodd, etc. – who wouldn’t relent. McCain even tried unsuccessfully to fight them.
Say what you want about Bush…he didn’t drive us into the fiscal calamity we now face under Obama.
While I will agree with you that GWB enhanced and advanced the long-ago created American ‘police state,’ it was not his policies that led to the real-estate crash, as the groundwork for that was laid down in the late 1970s by Jihad Jimmy Earl, and was later reinforced by Bill Clinton.
Google ‘Redlining.’
Remember, despite his many faults, GWB did try to correct the looming FM crash, and was rebuffed repeatedly by Bawney Fwank, Prissy Dodd, and Mindless Maxine at every turn.
And don’t even get me started on Sen. Up-Chuck Schumer.
