Gives a new meaning to bounce like a rubber ball!
Ow. That must’ve hurt.
After raising 200 Khaki Campbell ducks for their eggs [I got $4/doz in the Eighties when hen eggs were $2.50!], as well as white Pekin ducks for meat birds, I decided hens are not for areas of frequent freezing in Winter. Too weak a critter and subject to far more problems than ducks, who are easier to raise. Mind you, just as this video shows, ducklings follow their mum, so be sure they are always on the same plane!
Talk about resiliency!
Good thing they don’t weigh much!
