Late Sunday night, George Zimmerman was released on $150,000 bail in what the Associated Press called a “low-key event.” Zimmerman’s location is being kept secret as he awaits trial for the second-degree murder of Trayvon Martin, whom the President of the United States had called the son he would have had.
Although it is against Twitter Rules to “publish or post direct, specific threats of violence against others,” the Twitter lynch mob let loose with death threats against Zimmerman. Here’s a sample from Twitchy:

What has happened to our country? Nobody knows what happened before the gun went off but you have already convicted him. I want to know if the Black Panthers don’t withdraw the bounty and Mr. Zimmerman gets killed will they be held responsible? Rev. Al Sharpton and Jessie Jackson and yes the President should be held responsible. They started this. Blacks shoot eachother every day for stupid reasons and I don’t hear anything from the Reverand and the rest then. I guess those young blacks aren’t as important to their cause. Their making money off of this terrible incident.

No, I’m on a stupid iPad. My little boy popped all the keys off of our laptop awhile back. My in laws got this iPad for me for Christmas. I only use it to get on this site….in all honesty, this is the only site I am EVER on. I am not an Internet fan if you want to know the truth. I have always been a little scared by it. (sounds stupid I know!) I don’t carry a cell phone either…which is really b/c my little girl tried to flush it down the potty. This iPad will not fit!

Why, when I read this, did I get a visual of SexcNay, TrizzyTroof, TaNasha and all the others sitting at the long tables equipped with iPads and phones at some campaign headquarters (Acorn?) getting paid $10 per threat?? It just seems contrived to me.
