TO TRULY APPRECIATE THIS STORY
“Stay”
I pulled into the crowded parking lot at the local shopping center and rolled down the car windows to make sure my Labrador Retriever Pup had fresh air.
She was stretched full-out on the back seat and I wanted to impress upon her that she must remain there.
I walked to the curb backward, pointing my finger at the car and saying emphatically,
“Now you stay. Do you hear me?”
“Stay! Stay!”
The driver of a nearby car, a pretty blonde young lady, gave me a strange look and said,
“Why don’t you just put it in ‘Park’?”
Now that thar is one well-constructed, as well as well-equipped, girl.

Nothing sexier than a hot chick at a gun range who can hit the center of the bullseye or turn the clay pigeon into dust…….
My little sister, who has perfected the “dumb blonde” act the nth degree, is a constant delight. One afternoon she was visiting me at work and told my gruff-tough Vietnam Vet boss who ran the gun safety program at the American Legion how much she loved to shoot. He grinned and winked at me, set up a little shooting range in the warehouse and handed her an rifle. She hit 6 bullseyes in a row, all the time telling him what a “delighful” time she was having! His jaw was literally on the floor. I was trying so hard not to laugh. She’s always been the best shot in the family! She’s even better with a handgun than she is with a rifle.
That was great!
