Today is the birthday of someone very special to me.
Joan was with Fellowship of the Minds from the beginning and lent her support by sharing her culinary skills and recipes. (See “Joan’s Kitchen“). When her arthritis permits, she occasionally comments on FOTM as joandarc.
But she is so much more than that.
Joan is my best friend in this world. A former administrative law appeals judge, she is the most generous and hardworking person I’ve ever met, with the heart of a lion. Unwavering in her convictions (like a boulder!), she righteously, ferociously, and tenaciously fights for the truth. You do not want her as an opponent!
Most of all, she loves the Triune God with her whole mind, her whole soul, her whole heart, and with all her strength. It’s that love that enables her to bear — with uncomplaining grace, stoicism, and joy — the constant excruciating pain in every joint of her body which she endures from her severe osteoarthritis and other ailments.
Happy birthday, my Godsister! May our most beloved Jesus the Christ comfort you with His tender love and send His angels and saints to protect and minister to you.

Right now, I am in tears from reading these beautiful wishes from you, and the sincere and loving post that my dearest Sister in the world has prepared for me. I thank all of you from the bottom of my heart and I thank you for listening to my comments during our enduring and lasting Fellowship. Dr. Eowyn is the most brilliant and insightful person I have ever met in my life, and I am so honored to have her as my loving sister, and I am forever grateful and thankful to God for giving her to me as she is also one of the most loving, honorable, loyal and dearest persons in this world. She, too, as all of you know, is our leader and a great warrior, like Eowyn in Lord of the Rings, courageous and centered always on what is right and good! I ask that the magnificent and loving Triune God bless her and all of you on this day. I also want to mention my dear love for a beautiful lady who was martyred, in or about the year 108. Her name is Bendita and she was 24 years old, and she was the longest suffering martyr, having been tortured and suffered on a cross. (I believe it was in the colisseum, but I am not sure.) She is honored on the 24th day of February. Again, thank you all again. May we continue to fight for the truth. As Edith Stein said, now known as St. Teresa Benedicta of the Cross, “Love is Truth, and Truth is Love!”

Again, I thank all of you for your love and support. It really makes me cry and I so much appreciate the wonderful People of God! There are great people in this world, and all of you prove that by your goodness and love of truth. With your help, and the help of the angels and the saints, Our Blessed Mother, we will do our good work and deeds on this earth serving the living Triune God, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit! The words on St. Joan’s banner, her favorite possession were, “Jesu – Maria!”

I’m running a day late in responding to this and all my other emails, as we FINALLY got real contracting work, and I’ve been scrambling to get the project nailed down. I just sent out our Proposal, and yours caught my eye when seeing what had come into my email box.
