  1. Sorry, Tom, but I’m no fan of Allen West.

Lest we forget, he voted for the NDAA (detain US citizens w/out trial). He also voted for Obama’s budget “compromise” increase.

    • Yeah, I know, but it was refreshing to see a black man stand before the House and tell the truth about the Republicans and the civil rights movement.

  2. also the Pigford lawsuit! I had such high hopes for Allen West. He has been bitten by Boehner and the likes. He would have to do some pretty fancy footwork to get my confidence back. He also knows what a treasonous fraud aka obama is,they all do. Leave no incumbents standing. “Throw Them All Out!!”

  3. There are people trying to redistrict Congressman West right out of office. This man despises Obama, but he can’t fight everybody! I like the guy (and I live in Florida) and he tries hard to stand up to the status quo in Washington. He’s also a retired Marine Col. Now, what’s not to like???

  4. Colin Powell had the same potential to write his own ticket…
but you gotta give credit when it’s due just like you’ve got
to stand on your voting record….unless you’re the chosen one.

  5. Colin Powell is the one that backed Obama even though he worked under Bush right? Or am I confused?

  6. I hate to see him fall for the standard Republican choice/voucher/charter school gambit. School Choice was a tenet of the UNESCO education plan as early as the 1950s.

The words of John Chubb and Terry Moe, of The Brookings Institute and Stanford University respectively, would have gotten them an invite to a tar and feather party — “Our guiding principle in the design of a choice system is this: public authority must be put to use in creating a system that is almost entirely beyond the reach of public authority.” (Politics, Markets and America’s Schools, 1990)

    • You are so-o-o right Grannie, as usual. The last thing home- schoolers need is “government help.” These vouchers are an oily way to get the One World government into private Christian schools and homeschools.

  7. I Don’t BELIEVE or TRUST Anyone Who is a Current Member of Congress!

Too Many Have Betrayed Our Trust and Their Constitutional Oath of Office!

We would have better Representation with Random Names that were chosen from phone books!
