Washington Times: A top official with the National Rifle Association said Friday that President Obama will move to “destroy” gun rights and “erase” the Second Amendment if he is re-elected in November.
While delivering one of the liveliest and best-received speeches at the Conservative Political Action Conference in Washington, NRA Executive Vice President Wayne LaPierre said the president’s low-key approach to gun rights during his first term was “a “conspiracy to ensure re-election by lulling gun owners to sleep.”
“All that first term, lip service to gun owners is just part of a massive Obama conspiracy to deceive voters and hide his true intentions to destroy the Second Amendment during his second term,” he said.
“We see the president’s strategy crystal clear: Get re-elected and, with no more elections to worry about, get busy dismantling and destroying our firearms’ freedom, erase the Second Amendment from the Bill of Rights and excise it from the U.S. Constitution.”
Mr. LaPierre said the president’s two Supreme Court appointees — Sonia Sotomayor and Elena Kagan— are “two of the most rabid anti-gun justices in history.” He also accused Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg of being a foe of gun rights.
And with the possibility of two or more Supreme Court justice positions opening during the next four years, the NRA official warned that gun ownership would be in jeopardy if Mr. Obama stays in office.
“If we get one more like those three, the Second Amendment is finished,” he said. “It’ll be the end of our freedom forever.” Mr. LaPierre, who said “there is no greater freedom than to own a firearm,” predicted that gun owners will rally en masse to defeat Mr. Obama in November.
“All of what we know is good and right about America, all of it could be lost if Barack Obama is re-elected,” he said. “It’s all or nothing.”
Wouldn’t surprise me if Skippy and some liberal judges would try to modify our Second Amendment right. But guarantee you if they do, gunowners will not be happy. Ever tried to remove a gun from their owner? Better think twice before attempting to do that!

WELL………………… Dig this, Barack Obama has openly stated that he is fully behind the removal of Assad and the Free Syria Army has his approval, etcetc. and it is now common knowlege that British special forces and Qatari forced are training the Fee Syria Army against the Assad regime and helping them to gain access to arms shipments from outside Syria, and it is an accepted “fact” that the US has it’s “special relationship” with the Brits. ON LAST SUNDAY, YESTERDAY, the new head of Al Qaeda following in the footsteps of Osana bin Laden, announced that Al Qaeda is fully behind the Free Syria Army and the shutting down of the Assad Regime.
This means that Barack Obama and the Head of the Al Qaeda are allied with one another to bring down Assad.
So in other words, Barack Obama is one of the people that are known to be allied with and associated with a known terrorist organization…………………………..Good enough to warn everyone that he has to be removed from office, we can’t have the head of our presidential Administration allied and associated with a known terrorist organization CAN WE? Suggest you do some history into Skippy’s gun rights voting record as a senator. A little knowledge can be a useful thing.

Look up how Skippy voted on SB2165 involving the case of a man using his Second Amendment right to shoot an intruder who broke into his home. Then look up how he voted on Blago’s veto of the bill.
Skippy also sat on the board of the Joyce Foundation, which gave out grants totalling over $2 million to groups advocating gun control. The recipient of one of those grants, the Violence Policy Center, used grant money to publish a book, “Every Handgun is Aimed at You: The Case for Banning Handguns”.
Skippy also supported the DC ban on handguns, claiming he supported local officials who enact gun bans on in their areas.
He can say whatever he dang well wants. His actions speak louder.
