We have a winner!

The judges have voted and we have a winner for FOTM’s world-famous Caption Contest, our 9th!

This is the picture:

7 FOTM writers cast their votes for his or her No. 1 and No. 2 captions. Each #1 vote is worth 3 points; each #2 vote is worth 2 points; and an honorable mention is worth 1 point.

And our winner — with three #1 votes and one #2 vote, totaling 11 points — is Bob Wilson! WooHoo! This is his short but sweet winning caption:

“Now right here is where we take all of the money!!”

Locke Enlode is our runner-up, with two #1 votes and one #2 vote, totaling 8 points. This is his caption:

“You see class, first I take over GM and Chrystler to pay off the $65 million campaign bribe, I mean contribution, from the unions. Then I take over the Health Care industry and destroy one-sixth of the U.S. economy. Then I destroy the banking system with Dodd/Frank, and that leaves only the military to gut and I can still BLAME BUSH! MISSION ACCOMPLISHED! Now, about that birth certificate thingy… Hmmmm… maybe some more of that hopey changy kool-aid will help?”

Terry submitted two captions. His “Dem Bones” caption is in 3rd place, with one #1 vote and one #2 vote, totaling 5 points:
