A magician meditates on deception

At the TED conference last year, using three iPods as as magical props, Swiss illusionist Marco Tempest spins a clever, surprisingly heartfelt meditation on truth and lies, art and emotion.

H/t my dear sis-in-law Shireen.

  1. Absolutely superb, and a heartfelt magickal “Thank you!” to the good heart who discovered this jewel. It’s on its way to two friends who will get as much out of it as I, one of whom celebrates his 88th b’day after Meeting for Worship at my home this First Day next. It was Arthur C Clarke who famously remarked in the Seventies or early Eighties that “Magic is technology we haven’t yet understood,” and there’s much truth in that, as this fellow deftly demonstrates.

  2. Thanks Dr E and Shireen, very nice…
