At the Occupy Los Angeles demonstration a few days ago, a speaker dismisses nonviolence as a dead end. He then says that for the Occupiers to achieve their goals, “ultimately” violence and bloodshed will be necessary:

Just remember these are the same Occupy Movement whom Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi, peace-loving guru Deepak Chopra, and the lefty Hollywood crowd (Alec Baldwin, Susan Sarandon, Michael Moore, Tim Robbins, Kanye West, Roseanne Barr) approve. Barr actually calls for the beheading of those who have more than $100 million. (Conveniently, Barr herself is worth $80 million, just $20 million shy of beheading!)

Who is this bozo? He can barely speak Engoligh and he’s calling for a bloody French style revolution? He better remember that there are millions of hunters and grandmas like me, and others out here with their own guns, and that many of them might have something to say to these violent revolution types. Even if I go down, it will be fighting and they will know that I did not lie down and accept their premise
