Rep. David Wu
(D-Ore.) made his resignation official, clearing the way for a special election
to succeed him.
“Serving as a U.S. congressman has been the greatest
honor of my life. There is no other job where you get up each day and ask, ‘How
can I try to make the world a better place today?’” Wu said in a statement from
his office, which said the resignation would take effect at 11:59 p.m.

had been under fire after the young daughter of a campaign contributor accused
him of an “unwanted sexual encounter.”

I am shocked, shocked, that a Liberal would actually do the right thing, for once, without being dragged kicking and screaming from the House of Representatives. Of course, knowing Oregon’s past history, the voters will probably replace him with a clone because Oregon is hard and fast a Liberal state. Oregon always follows Washington and California in voting liberal down the line, with a few exceptions. There must be something in the water on the West Coast.

Congressman Wu has been a Complete Failure:
As a Congressman He failed to make the World a better place!(and let’s not foreget what He has done to America!)
He has failed as a husband!
He has failed as a Father!
But He said working in Congress was “G-G-R-R-R-R-E-A-T”!
Saddly Congress has been turned into “the House of ill Repute”
Who voted for him in the first place ?????
Democrats in Oregon. There were repeated warnings about Wu, which the voters ignored.
