We Have a Pic of the Navy SEALs Who Took Down Osama!

This is the Navy SEAL Team 6 who broke into that compound in Pakistan after Osama bin Laden:

A few things to notice:

  • 50 caliber sniper on the right.
  • Knee, knuckle and forearm protection.
  • Various plastic/wire ties.
  • Absolute identity denial to protect their families.
  • Free choice of footwear.
  • Fourth from the right has three artillery simulators and CS gas grenades on his belly.  He’s the ‘shock and awe’ guy.

Can you imagine the look on Osama’s face when these guys came through the door?

  1. GOD BLESS ‘EM!~ BY THE WAY ONE OF THOSE GUYS APPEARS TO HAVE ONE OF THE NEW BIONIC ARMS. SOME OF OUR COMPATRIOTS HERE AT OUR BASE HAVE THEM. THEY DO EVERYTHING. THEY RUN, THEY EVEN BOWL, WHICH REQJUIRES SOME STATE OF THE ART APPARATUS.

  2. These guys rock!

  3. Thomas Morato

Looks like some bad-arse dudes that I would not want to come across in battle.

    Things I noticed…

Can’t clearly make them out, but what is with the Islamic cross sword (black/white) patches?

    • Skull & crossbones (as in “Arrgh, matey!”) probably with “Infidel” added in Arabic, all for the sake of badassery.

  4. Can you say major badasses?

    -Dave

  5. You do realize those are toy action figures?

    • Sure. Toy action figures with a bionic arm? Source please.

      • If you look closely at the picture, you’ll see that the stitching on their gear is way too large to be anything real. I’m not trying to insult you, I’m just telling you they’re action figures. very well done action figures, but action figures none the less. Even though you’ve casually dismissed Doug and his links, I assure you those are action figures.

  6. What’s disturbing is that Disney trademarked “seal team 6″ 2 days after the raid and have started producing children’s material crap based on this assault. Disney of all people, the parents will buy it, we’re all in such awe over this “assault” that we’re going to start projecting it on our children. American indoctrination……….

    • I did. Just pictures of guns. Nothing like this pic of Navy SEALs. After two attempts, I must conclude that you’re just using this blog to peddle your merchandise. Please leave.

  7. Bullcrap. You sir or maam are an idiot. Everybody else can click on the link above and see that they are the same action figures that you think are real people. You did not see “just pictures of guns”. They are the F*CKING DOLLS! And no, I do not sell them. I was just trying to tell you so you could take down your post and not look like the complete sh*thead that you apparently are. Here you go again. See more here….

    • Gosh, what an EXPLOSION of rage and vulgarities and obscenities! Tsk, tsk. Didn’t your mother raise you properly?

Alas, the new URL you provided in your latest enraged comment simply refers us to a Google search page for “Navy seal action figures playhouse.” Among the pics is this one that, no doubt, you will insist is of toy figures as well:
      Doug

Changing your e-mail address got you back on, but this time I’ve banned your IP address. Nighty night!

      • That does indeed happen to be a real picture. The other is of a bunch of toys. Closer examination with your eyes and application of logic would tell you that. And just so we’re crystal clear on the “I know what I’m talking about” aspect of this, you can go ahead and check my IP, and I’ve used my alternate email address. ;)

    • Who cares if they are dolls? I doubt we’ll ever see a pic of the real SEALS that took down OBL in order to protect their safety.

The point is: the SEALS rock and OBL is DEAD thanks to them. Get some soap and clean out your filthy mouth…

      • Filthy mouth? At what point have I used profanity? You know what? While I liked browsing this site for good reading, it’s become painfully (and quickly) obvious you’re all just a *wee bit* paranoid. I think my browsing days here are done.

  8. doug, Do you kiss your mama with that dirty mouth????

  9. No answer? Ok, fine. Pride can be a PITA.

    • You know, Scott, I can’t even begin to understand why you’re so insistent on this or why you have this triumphant contemptuous tone.

As I said in my post, I received the pic as an e-mail from a good friend and published author, who, in turn, got it from his friend in the Navy. I don’t know whether the pic indeed is of the Navy SEALs who took down Osama bin Laden. If you say they are action figures, Okeedokee! Whatever that makes your boat float….

  10. Frankly, I’m amazed at your insistence that this is a picture of real people, and you advertise it as such. I’m not trying to make a triumph out of this, I’m trying to save you and your site the embarrassment. I like reading here, and when I saw the picture and its attendant claim of “reality” I had to say something. They’re action figures- I’ve SEEN them in local specialty stores and they’re very expensive, but toys regardless. All you have to do is LOOK at the picture closely and you’ll see a million things jump out at you that don’t look right. If the stitching on my uniform was that big I’d get my ass kicked for having a third grader sew my stuff. Seriously, they’d be like half inch stitches. LOOK AT THE DETAILS! I knew at a glance what they were, firstly because I’ve seen the things before, and secondly because of all the glaring inconsistencies. Maybe I have a sharper eye for these things since I wear half of that crap anyway, but once they’re pointed out they’re easy to see.

So tell your friend that sent you the pic he got taken for a ride.

    • Scott, thanks for pointing out the suspect details in the pic. The reaction you garnered here was due to you following a commenter named “Doug” who insisted the pic is of action toys, but the two successive URLs he provided contained nothing that would substantiate his claim.

Frankly, there’s a way to point things out to us, but without calling or implying we’re liars or stupid. That instantly puts me on the defensive, especially when I’m given no compelling proof that these are action toy figures, other than your and Doug’s insistence. But your pointing out details in the pic, such as the size of the stitching — now, that is helpful. For that, I thank you.

  11. First giveaway for me was the skull and crossed swords patches; no gold trident patch. Then this…

    http://goo.gl/YnL3b

Our Seal Team 6 looks considerably meaner and more determined than those “guys.” I assure you. Don’t take everything you see at face value. Due diligence is the key in most everything. Non-Believers like to make fools out of Believers.

    • Oh, the pirate flag patch is real enough. It’s all the rage nowadays to have velcro add-ons to your uniform, especially downrange. Easy on, easy off for when you get back amongst the inevitable “garrison” types. Trust me, there’s a whole underground industry serving this need.

  12. Oh, and thank you Eowyn. It wouldn’t let me reply, apparently it’s at the limit on that sub-thread.

  13. Hey guys,
Sorry for the nectro-post, but I just wanted to clear a couple things up. I’m a huge Navy SEAL buff. It’s actually my major in college is military history.
To clear a couple things up…that is action figures. The guy on (our) far right, his arm is very shiny…too shiny for a human being.
Another is, as Scott was saying, the gear. I put it in my Photobucket to ensure the pic will be there for a couple more years.
    http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v664/Merc8Ball/?action=view&current=navspec_main.jpg
Compare that guy with the pouches that they’re supposed to be, which is most likely Blackhawk, because SEALs get BHI (Blackhawk Industries) gear in mass amount.
    http://www.blackhawk.com/catalog/Ammo-Assault-Rifle,1391.htm
You can tab around there and find that none of the pictures match up. If you want more information, http://www.optactical.com has A LOT of gear that you can check out to see the matching up.

Now, someone above stated the Calico Jack flag is what proves it also. Unfortunately, as Scott stated, you can never tell who the person is due to patches anymore…But Calico Jack is almost a dead giveaway with SEALs. They’re modern day pirates, and, when on missions, they aren’t allowed to give away their information, so you won’t see a SEAL patch anywhere. This isn’t hard proof. A guy without Calico Jack could clearly be a SEAL, or vice versa, but patches not giving unit isn’t a give away.

This is an awesome picture, and awesome toys that have had me fooled before, but no, unfortunately it isn’t a real picture of them, and you’ll never see anything like that, most likely, not for their safety, but for their sacrifice. They aren’t doing this to get their picture on the internet, it’s so all of us can sleep well at night knowing the faceless people of the US SOCOM are out there doing the things we don’t wanna do.

On a side note, if you guys WOULD like to see something that’ll blow your mind, check out the new movie Act Of Valor. Since I don’t know if this site will start playing the link right away, here’s a “link to the link”…
    http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=act+of+valor
It’s played by real retired SEALs, and looks incredible. Rumors have it that they will be reenacting the killing of Osama Bin Laden, but I don’t know how truthful that is since it comes from a guy who knows a guy who knows a guy.

Hope this cleared some things up, and I’ll be checking out some other things on your site right after class.

(This post was in no way to advertise for any business. I’m a college student and don’t own or participate or am I in affiliation with any businesses which were posted here)

  14. yes its all 1/6 action figure LOL.
i think it’s gears try to look like seals in mir bahmanyar book ..
