It is not just Democratic Party bigwigs who have buyer’s remorse. There’s also Velma Hart — middle class, a wife and the mother of two, a veteran, and one of the 93% of blacks who had voted for Obama in 2008.
In a now-famous TV footage of Obama’s Sept. 21 townhall meeting, Hart lamented to the Fraud In Chief:
“Quite frankly, I’m exhausted – I’m exhausted of defending you, defending your administration, defending the mantle of change that I voted for, and deeply disappointed with where we are right now.”
Obama responded by LAUGHING. Then he blamed — you guessed it! — George W. Bush.
Look for Velmar Hart’s remark at the 0:46 mark (h/t beloved fellows Steve, Joan, & Tina!):
Remember Obama’s inappropriate laughter throughout his interview on the economy with Steve Kroft on CBS’ “60 Minutes” in March 2009? Kroft got so exasperated, he said to the President of the United States:
“You’re sitting here. And you’re– you are laughing. You are laughing about some of these problems.”
Totally inappropriate reaction to others is a sign, minimally of a narcissist’s lack of empathy, and maximally of mental illness. (Pathological narcissism, of course, itself is a mental and spiritual/moral disorder.)
