On September 1, retired 3-star Air Force Lieutenant General Thomas McInerney stepped forth with an affidavit supporting Army surgeon Lt. Col. Terry Lakin who will be court martialed on October 13-15. Now another general is speaking out in support of Dr. Lakin. He is retired US Army Major General Jerry Curry.
While I commend the two retired generals for speaking out in support of Lt. Col. Lakin, the American people want to know:
- Why no active-duty military officer is speaking out but, instead, are letting a fellow officer twist in the wind? Have they forgotten their oath to ”support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic”?
- Why are there not more retired military officers speaking out in support of Dr. Lakin? You do not jeopardize your job or your pension if you speak the truth!
