Calls to investigate the funding for the proposed $100 million Cordoba House near Ground Zero, the Islamic “cultural center” that will include a mosque, have fallen on deaf ears. New York’s Mayor Mike Bloomberg even described such an investigation as “un-American.” But House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-California) is calling for an investigation of those who are protesting the building of the Conquest Mosque!
Kerry Picket of the Washington Times reports that on Tuesday, August 17, Pelosi told San Francisco’s KCBS radio:
“There is no question there is a concerted effort to make this a political issue by some. And I join those who have called for looking into how is this opposition to the mosque being funded, how is this being ginned up….”

Nobody paid us to oppose the Ground Zero conquest mosque. Fellowship of the Minds is a non-commercial ad-free blog staffed solely by unpaid volunteers. We don’t do this for money. We do this for love, of God and country. But then we really don’t expect you to understand patriots or patriotism.
While you’re at it, you might want to investigate your colleague, Sen. Harry Reid (D-NV), ’cause he says he’s also opposed to the mosque being built near Ground Zero!

she’s a nut! She’s the one trying to make this political by her very remark.. and she wants to investigate the funding for the opposition to the mosque????? ROFL this is what makes her a straight jacket ready nut. Good grief woman, we don’t need no steenking funding. We can make our voices heard, without resorting to the orchestrated bullsh you are used to.
I think this woman is way passed her “use by ” date.
The Victory Mosque is just the visible tip of a very large iceberg. Beneath the surface of Western societies, Muslims are waging a campaign of infiltration, subversion, sedition and social sabotage, with the openly stated objective of destroying our countries and way of life from within.
I now consider any and all supporters of the FUMosque to be traitors to America, as they are clearly attempting to aid our jihadist enemies in this war by allowing them to build their monument to the Islamic barbarism that was carried out against this country on 9/11/01.
If anyone needs to be investigated, it is the traitor Nancy Pelosi.
